<br />This being the date set for hearing ordering certain m~difications of the work to
<br />be done in Assessment District No. 201 proceedings for the improvement of Main
<br />Street between Edinger Street and Delhi Road; no protests were received and on
<br />motion of Councilman GOuld, secoEM~d by Mail and carried, the hearing was declared
<br />closed. The Council having unanimously waived the reading of the Resolution, on
<br />motion of Counc~lm~n Gould, seconded by Hall and carried, the following Resolution
<br />entitled:

<br />The Mayor aunouncedthis is the time and place for hearing evidence to determine
<br />whether the public convenience and necessity require the improvement of Towner
<br />Street and other streets, in Assessment District No. 202, and asked the Clerk if
<br />she was in possession of the affidavit of publication and affidavit of posti~g~ The
<br />Clerk stated she had the affidavit of publication and affidavit of posting, and on
<br />motion of Councilman Gould, seconded by Hall and carried, the affidavits w~re
<br />received and filed. The Clerk stated there were no written protests. The Mayor
<br />asked if there were any oral protests, and there being none, on motian of Council-
<br />man Gould, seconded by Hall and carried, the hearing was closed. The Council
<br />having unanimously waived the reading of the Resolution, on motion of Counc~l.~u
<br />Gould, seconded by Hall and carried, the following Resolution entitled:

<br /> "Resolution No. 59-44 of the City Council of the City of Santa Aha,
<br /> finding that the public convenience and necessity require the
<br /> improvement of Towner Street and other streets all in the City of
<br /> Santa Aha"

<br />Counc~lm~n Hubbard, seconded by Markel and carried, the following Resolution

<br /> "Resolution No. 59-45 of the City Council of the City of Santa Aha
<br /> declaring its intention to improve Towner Street and other streets
<br /> in the City of Santa Aha, determining that bonds s~l be issued
<br /> to represent the cost therefor, declarin~ the work to be of more
<br /> than local or ordinary public benefi,t, and that the expense thereof
<br /> shall be assessed upon a District"
<br />
<br />setting the hearing date on April 6, 1959, was considered and passed by the follow-
