<br />On motion of CouncA~man Hall, seconded by Hubbard and carried, the request of Odm~rk
<br />& Bazil was granted to construct two B5 foot concrete driveway aprons on the west
<br />side of South Flower Street 2OB feet and ~89.9 feet south of the center line of
<br />Edinger Street, reference Variance Application No. 776 filed by Quentin Richard.

<br />The Council having unanimously waived the reading of the Resolution, on motion of

<br />The ~anager orally reported he had contacted the owner of the M & W Bus Lines, in
<br />regard to the application before the Public Utilities Commission for relocation of
<br />terminal and rerouting, and it is his opinion it is not possible for the City to
<br />take any action to br~ng the N & W Bus Lines ba~k into the Union Bus Termlnal, nor
<br />deny them the right to use the street. It was moved by Counc~lm~n Ral 7, seconded
<br />by Hubbard and carried, that the oral report of the ~nager be accepted and no
<br />action be taken in the matter.

<br />Mayor Hetnly stated that A, H. Allen, member of the Metropolitan Water District,
<br />has requested the City Council to go on record as opposing the establiskment of
<br />recreatior~l facilities in the Lake Matthews district. ~t was moved by Counc~lm-n
<br />~arkel, seconded by N~ ~ and carried, that the City Council go on record as opposing
<br />the establishment of recreatio-e~ facilities in the v~ke Matthews area.

<br />directed to make a strong request to Supervisor Cy Featherly to urge the Supervisors
<br />to develop and establish a regional park on the 100 acres at the Fair Grimes.
