Beinly <br /> was granted permiesion to,leave the State from March 9, 1959 to March 19, 1959. <br /> It was moved by Councflm~n ~arkel, seconded by Na~l and carried, the following <br /> Resolution entitled: <br /> <br /> "Resolution No. 59-55 expressing appreciation for the long and <br /> faithful service of Harold 0. Rasmussen to the people of Santa Aha" <br /> <br />be considered and passed. ~ Mayor Hetn]y deCls,ved the Resolution to be unanimously <br />adopted.. <br /> <br />On recon~nendation of the Manager and on motion of Councflman Gould~ seconded by <br />Hubbard and carried, the plans and specifications were approved for the remodeling <br />work to be done on the third floor of the City Hall to provide additional space for <br />the Mayor's Office and the l~ing Department and the Purchasing Agent authorized <br />to advertise for bids to be opened March 16, 1959. <br /> <br /> On recommendation of the M~n~ger and on motion of Councilman Gould, seconded by <br /> Hubbard and carried, the plans and specifications were approved for the reconstruction <br /> of Oak Street between Bishop and M~e Streets, Project C-3B, and the Purchasing <br /> Agent authorized to advertise for bids to be opened April 6, 1959. <br /> <br />On rec~.w,en~ation of the Manager and on motion of Cx)unctlmau ~r~l, seconded by <br /> <br />Wa] 1 and carried, authorization was granted for a ch-~e order increasing the amount <br />to $605.~1 for the reconstruction of storm drain on Delhi Road between Diamond <br />Street and D-~ C~-nel, Project No. ~0. <br /> <br />On recommendation of the ~nager and on motion of Counc~lw~n Gould, seconded by <br />Markel and carried, authorization was granted for a change order increasi~ the <br />amount to $16~7.69 for the reconstruction of 17th Street between Bristol Street and <br />College Avenue, and Towner and Baker Streets, Project Nos. 104 and 109. <br /> <br />On rec~ndation of the Manager and on motion of Counc~m-~ Gould, seconded by <br />Hubbard and carried~ authorization was granted for a ch~Ee order increasing the <br />total amount to $11,741.97 for r~construction of center 20 feet of paving on King <br />Street from 600 feet north of 9th Street to 17th Street, Project No. C-29. <br /> <br />It was moved by Counct ~meu Hubbard, seconded by Hall and carried, Opinion No. 2_17 <br />of the City Attorney reference Counc!!m~us' salaries - Charter Amendment, was <br />received, filed and a certified copy of the Opinion f~rnished to the Director of <br /> <br />On motion of Counctlm~n Gould, seconded by Hubbard and carried, the City Council <br />adjourned. <br /> <br />Clerk of the Council <br /> <br /> <br />
