<br />County Sanitation Districts Nos. 1, 2, 3, 5, 6, 7, 8 and 11, was granted to ex~rcise

<br />its option to renew lease dated September 17, 1956 with the City for rental of rooms
<br />
<br />233 ~o 2B9 inclusive, at 110~ West Eighth Street, for a period of thirty months
<br />
<br />commencing April 1, 1959.

<br />On motion of Councilman Hubbard, seconded by ~] ! and carried, the request of the

<br />President, Sant~ Aha City Employees Association, was granted for renewal of option
<br />
<br />to extend Bowl Concession agreement for one year beginning April 1, 1959 to March
<br />
<br />1960.

<br />On motion of Counc~lma~ Hubbard, seco~M-d by Hall and carried, proper officials
<br />were authorized to execute agreement dated March 16, 1959, with the State of
<br />California, Department of Public Works, Division of Highways for construction of
<br />traffic signa~ and highway lighting at Bristol Street and Memory Lane (State Route
<br />VII-Ora-179-SA).
<br />
<br />On motion of Councilman Hubbard, seconded by H~ll and carried, proper officials were
<br />authorized to execute renewal permit with A. E. Fowler and Sons to remove sand £~m
<br />the City owned portion of the channel bed of the Santa Aha River, which permit is
<br />to be renewed under the same terms and conditions as existing permit.
<br />
<br />On motion of Councllm~u Hubbard, seconded by Ha~ and carried, the Purchasing Agent
<br />was authorized to advertise for bids for Special Valve for M. W. D. Vault at Bristol
<br />and Talbert, Specification 67B-2, and t~o four-door se8~s for the Police D~partment,
<br />Specification 62~-17; bids to be opened April 6, 1959.

<br />The Council having unanimously waived the reading of the Resolution, on motion of
<br />Councflman Hubbard, seconded by Hall and carried, the following Resolution entitled:

<br /> "Resolution No. 59-61 accepting deeds where City is paying no
<br /> cash consideration"
<br />
<br />from D & L Homes, Inc. for easement for drainage purposes ten feet wide, between
