RESOLUTION NO. 79-146 <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA <br />ADDING A NEW SECTION AND AMENDING SEVERAL SECTIONS OF RESOLU- <br />TION NO. 58-281 TO PROVIDE CERTAIN COMPENSATION ADJUSTMENTS <br />FOR EXECUTIVE AND MIDDLE-MANAGEMENT CLASSES FOR FISCAL YEARS <br />1979-80 AND 1980-81 <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, on November 3, 1958, the City Council passed and adopted <br />Resolution No. 58-281, revising and re-establishing the Basic Compensation <br />Plan for all officers and employees of the City of Santa Ana; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council has from time to time amended said Resolution; <br />and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council, on July 27, 1976, adopted Resolutions 76-83 <br />and 76-85 amending the City's basic classification and pay plan (Resolution <br />58-281) in order to provide for the designation of certain management classes <br />as unrepresented Executive Management (EM) or Middle-Management (MM) classes <br />and to set ~orth certain compensation adjustments, including several specific <br />employee benefit improvements for those classes; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, it is now desired to adjust the salary rate ranges currently <br />assigned to those classes, provide a special performance incentive allowance <br />and to add to the list of benefits enumerated in Sections 3.1.1 and 3.1.2 <br />of Resolution 58-281, as amended. <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of <br />Santa Ana: <br /> <br /> 1. That Section 3 of Resolution 58-281, as amended, is hereby further <br />amende~l by: <br /> <br /> A.
