RESOLUTION NO. 79-146 <br /> <br /> 1. Life Insurance Coverage. From and after September 1, 1979, or <br />as soon thereafter as practicable, the City will seek to amend the group <br />term life insurance policy it maintains on ],ehalf o~ its employees in order <br />to ~provide each person designated as Middle-Management (MM), and who is com- <br />pensated at the rate of $20,000 or greater per annum, with term life insur- <br />ance coverage in an amount equal to the employee's annual rate of salary, <br />provided said person can p£ovide e~ide~¢e of insurability if so required. <br />Said life insurance coverage shall include an Accidental Death and Dismem- <br />berment provision. The City will pay any reasonable additional premium ~ost <br />to provide such life insurance coverage at no cost to the employee. <br /> <br /> In the event a Middle-Management employee is determined to be <br />ineligible for said insurance coverage, the City w%ll attempt to provide as <br />much additional coverage within ~e limits set ~orth above as may be obtain- <br />able without said employee having to provide evidence of insurability, but <br />in no case shall the amount of coverage be less than the existing $20,000 <br />A.D. and D. coverage. <br /> <br /> For those Middle-Management employees who are compensated at a <br />rate less than $20,000 per annum, the existing $20,000 A.D. and D. coverage <br />will continue to apply. <br /> <br />4. That a new section, numbered 3.1.3, be added to read as follows: <br /> <br /> Section 3.1.3: Administrative Leave Policy. The City Manager is <br />authorized to grant, at his discretion, administrative leave for Executive <br />and Middle-Management personnel. <br /> <br />5.
