5.2 <br /> <br />Personnel in the class of Park Maintenance Worker who are regularly and <br />continuously assigned to and actually performing park mowing duties using heavy <br />mower equipment, will be paid at a rate set twenty (20) salary rate ranges <br />(approximately 10%) above their then current base monthly salary step. <br /> <br />Personnel in the class of Park Maintenance Worker who are regularly and <br />continuously assigned to and actually performing duties as a utilities coordinator will <br />be paid at a rate set twenty (20) salary rate ranges (approximately 10%) above their <br />then current base monthly salary step. <br /> <br />Personnel in the class of Park Maintenance Worker who are regularly and <br />continuously assigned to and actually performing duties as an irrigation technician <br />will be paid at a rate set twenty (20) salary rate ranges (approximately 10%) above <br />their then current base monthly salary step. <br /> <br />Personnel in the class of Park Maintenance Worker who are regularly and <br />continuously assigned to and actually performing duties as a pesticide operator will <br />have the opportunity to earn up to fifteen (15) salary rate ranges (approximately <br />7.5%) above their then current base monthly salary step for acquisition of the <br />following: Department of Food & Agriculture Qualified Applicator License - <br />approximately 2.5%; Certificate in Ornamental Horticulture = approximately 5%. <br /> <br />Personnel in the class of Park Maintenance Worker who maintain a valid Certified <br />Pool Operator license and who are assigned to and actually performing duties as an <br />aquatics technician shall be paid at a rate set five (5) salary rate ranges <br />(approximately 2.5%) above their then current base monthly salary step. <br /> <br />Lead Pay. An incumbent who is regularly and continuously assigned to lead a functional unit <br />which includes two (2) or more positions in the same or lower classifications as the <br />incumbent may be compensated for said duties upon mutual agreement of the City and SEIU <br />and approval of the Department Head and the Executive Director of Personnel Services. <br />This compensation shall be referred to as "lead pay." <br /> <br />In addition, incumbents in the following classifications who are regularly and continuously <br />assigned to perform lead supervisory responsibilities will receive lead pay compensation at <br />a rate set ten (10) salary rate ranges (approximately 5%) above his or her then current base <br />monthly salary step: Buyer, Customer Services Representative, Equipment Operator-Motor <br />Sweeper, Information Services Representative, Librarian, Library Services Assistant, Parking <br />Meter Technician II, Senior Systems Administrator, Graphics Designer II, Senior Accounting <br />Assistant, Housing Specialist II, Senior Librarian, Workforce Specialist II, and Workforce <br />Specialist III. An incumbent in the class of Custodian who is regularly and continuously <br />assigned to perform lead supervisory responsibilities will receive lead pay compensation at <br />a rate fifteen (15) salary rate ranges (approximately 7.5%) above his or her then current base <br />monthly salary step. <br /> <br />12 <br /> <br /> <br />
