<br />quest of tDe Brea Lions ~lub for use of the Municipal Oowl August 14, 1959, for
<br />the North-South High School Footballgame at a flat fee of $200.00 be continued

<br />until the next regular meeting, for further investigation.

<br />Communication was read from David Bacca, Chairman, Little League Opening Day
<br />
<br />Co~ittee, requesting permission to conduct an automobile parade from Eighth
<br />
<br />Street east to Main Street, and south on Main Street to the Julia Lathrop
<br />
<br />Junior High School, on June 6, 1959, at lO:e0 A.M. and use of the ~unicipal
<br />
<br />Bowl parking area as a staging $,m~d. It was moved by Councilman Hubbard,
<br />
<br />seconded by ~ould and carried, that the applicant be notified to secure the
<br />
<br />approval of the Police Department.

<br />Communication was presented from the State of California, Department of ~uolic
<br />
<br />Health, Bureau of Sanitary ~ngineering, requesting renewal of domestic water
<br />permit for the Ci~ water system and submitting a copy of the addendum to the
<br />1951 sanitary survey report. It was moved by Councilman Hubbard, secoDxled by
<br />Hail a~d carried, that proper steps be taken for the renewal of ~he ~ater
<br />Permit.

<br />It was moved by Councilman Hubbard and seconded by Gould that all items
<br />
<br />listed under "Departmental Reports" he continued until the next meeting.
