On <br />motion of Councilman brewer, seconded by Hubbard and carried, the recommendation <br />of the Planning Commission was approved and the Variance denied. <br /> <br />Communication was read from the Planning Commission recommending denial of <br />Variance Application No. lllO filed by ~obert W. Allen and Willard L. ~estover <br />to use existing two bedroom house as the professional offices of the Penn Mutual <br />Life Insurance Semi, any and to erect a small professional sign c~ front lazn, <br />on property situated at 712 North Bristol Street, in R-2 District. ~obert W. <br />Allen, one of the applicants, submitted a letter from Lydia M. Stauffer~ <br /> <br />Harold F. De~ald and Hugh A. Mclntyre, residents living in the 700 block on North <br />Bristol Street, approving the Variance. On motion of Councilman Gould, seccnded <br />by Hubbard and carried, the communication was received and filed. Mr. Allen <br />stated there are only 5 houses on the block, and they did not intend to create <br />any future growth type of ousiness.
