Con~munication <br />was read from the Planning ~mmlsslon recommending approval of Variance Applica- <br />tion No. ll20 filed by Jack and Ruth '~atsuda to estaolish and operate a trailer <br />park and court on property situated at 11232 Sugar Street, in R-1 District; to use <br />existing ouildings, consisting of a house az~d garage and build the balance of the <br />area with facilities necessary to accommodate a complete and modern trailer park, <br />subject to conditions. D. B. ~arrick, 927 Sharon ~oad, stated he planned to <br />purchase the land on which the trailer park is to be estaclished and his in- <br />quiries regarding sewage facilities and paving requirements were answered oy the <br />Manager. mr. Garrick agreed to all the conditions as imposed by the omm~ssxon. <br />It was moved by Councilman Hall, seconded by Gould and carried, that Variance <br />Application No. ll20 be granted subject to conditions of the Commission and the <br />further Condition that the front fence be a masonry wall and the sides ce chain <br /> <br />link fencing. <br />,, <br /> In compliance with verbal request of A. Hall to erect a building on property <br />situated at the southwest corner of McFadden Street and Standard Avenue, in <br />District, to be used for the ope~'aoion of a market and six small shops; to pro- <br />vide services or products needed in local area;adequate parkin~ to be provided, <br />subject to conditions. Mrs. Glen Graves, 846 E. McFadden Street and ~rs. Gloria <br />T~rtenwald, 842 E. McFadden Street, appeared in protest. Bert ~yssman, 902 ~'. <br />~CFadden Street, stated he owns propert.? adjacent to the proposed bailding and <br />requested that a fence be constructed prior to construction of the ouilding. <br />attorney John Cochran, representing Mrs. Margaret L. Hall, presented arguments <br />in favor of the Variance. It was moved by Councilm~ Hall end seconded by <br />Gould that the Variance be granted, su0ject to conditions, including the <br />erection of the fence prior to actual construction of the building.
