Council Chamoer Santa Ana City Hall June 15, 1959 7:30 P.M. City Council met in regular session. Meeting called to order by ~he Mayor. Present: Councilmen Absent: Councilmen Royal E. Hubbard, Stanley C. Gould, Jr., A. A. Hall Oob Brewer, Dale H. Heinly None The P~edge of Allegiance was given. Invocation was given by Reverend Gerald Bash of the First Christian Church. It was moved by Councilman Gould, seconded by Hubbard and carried, that the Minutes of June 1, 1959, in Record Book 20, Page 192, with reference to Variance Application No. 1122 filed by Margaret L. Hall be corrected to read as follows: "It was moved by Councilman Hall and seconded by Hubbard, that the Variance be granted." On motion of Councilman Gould, seconded by Hubbard and carried, the Minutes of June 1, 1959, as corrected, were approved. Bid acceptance Widening N. Main St. btn 15th St. to Freeway A tabulation of 0ids was presented by the Manager for the widening of North Main Street between Eighteenth Street and the ~anta Ana Freeway, Project No. 102, part III~ as follows: Cox Bros. Construction 0o. Griffith Co. Sully-Miller Contracting Co. Total $72,976.00 $69,952.00 $65,284.8o 10% bond $7,000.00 bond $9,000.00 Cashier's Check On motion of Councilman Hall, seconded by H~obard and carried, the low bid of Sully-Miller Company, in the total amount of $65,284.80 and at the unit prices, Bid acceptance Two four-door sedans-Police Dept. was accepted, and all other bids rejected. , A tabulation of 0ids was again presented by the Manager for the furnishing of two four-door sedans for the Police Department, Specification No. 621-18, as follows:
