Willmams granted to construct one two-family dwelling <br />on rear part of each of two lots on property situated at 912-914 No~th ming <br />Street, in R-1 District, subject to conditions. <br /> <br />This being the date set for hearing on the adoption of amendment of Master <br />Plan of Otreets and Highways; no protests were received, and the hearing was <br />de~lared closed. The Council having unanimously waived the reading of the <br />Resolution, on motion o~ Councilman Gould, seconded hy Brewer ~d carried, <br />the following Hesolution entitled: <br /> <br /> "Resolutiou No. 59-152 amending the Master Plan of <br /> Streets and Highways to include areas coming into <br /> the City ~y recent annexations" <br /> <br />was considered and passed by the following vote: <br /> <br />Ayes, Councilmen Royal E. Heinly <br />Noes, Councilmen None <br />Absent, Councilmen None <br />. <br />Communication was read from the Planning Commission recommending approval of <br />Variance Application No. 1125 filed by Lee Schultz to use existing single- <br />family residence as a general real estate and insurance office, a~d erect a <br />sign, five feet by ten feet in size; also olacktop area designated for parking, <br />on property situated at 1432 East Sev~teenth Street, in R-1 District, subject <br />to conditions of the Commission and the Department of Public ~orks. A petition <br />wa~ read signed by approximately 37 persons requestin~ denial of the Variance <br />application. Walter Adrian, 1621 Linwood Avenue, representing the protestants, <br />indicated the petition stated their case.
