KLG:ar <br />2/6/80 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 80-6 <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY <br />OF SANTA ANA INCREASING THE RATE OF COMPENSATION <br /> FOR MEMBERS OF THE HUMAN RELATIONS COMMISSION <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Santa Ana <br />established and set the rate of compensation for each member <br />of the Human Relations Commission in Resolution No. 73-131 <br />in paragraph 2 thereof; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, said paragraph 2 provides that each "member <br />of the Human Relations Commission shall receive the sum of <br />Fifteen Dollars ($15.00) for each regular or adjourned meet- <br />ing of said Commission which said member attends, provided, <br />however, no such member shall be paid more than Thirty <br />Dollars ($30.00) for such attendance at meetings held during <br />any one calendar month;" and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Santa <br />Ana, by a unanimous vote of said council members present at <br />the regular meeting of November 5, 1979, voted to increase <br />the compensation of each member of the Human Relations <br />Commission to Twenty-five Dollars ($25.00) for each regular <br />or adjourned meeting of said Commission which said member <br />attends, said compensation not to exceed the sum of Fifty <br />Dollars ($50.00). <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council <br />of the City of Santa Ana that the City Council hereby author- <br />izes compensation to be paid to each member of the Human <br />Relations Commission at the rate of Twenty-five Dollars <br />($25.00) for each regular or adjourned meeting of said <br />Commission which said member attends, provided, however, <br />that no such member shall be paid more than Fifty Dollars <br />($50.00) for attendance at meetings held during any one <br />calendar month, and, provided further, that said compensa- <br />tion shall be inclusive of compensation for any and all <br />meetings of the Housing Commission attended by the members <br />of the Human Relations Commission in their capacity as mem- <br />bers of the Housing Commission. <br /> <br />ADOPTED, this 4th day of February , <br />1980, by the following vote: <br /> <br />AYES: COUNCILMEN: <br />NOES: COUNCILMEN: <br /> <br />Bricken, Griset, Luxembourger, <br /> Markel, Serrato, Ward, Yamamoto <br />None <br /> <br />ABSENT: COUNCILMEN: None <br /> <br />~L~EICE C.
