Gould, Jr., A.A.W-ll, Bob Brewer, Dale H. Heinly i. ~ P~edge of ALlegiance was given. Invocation was given by Reverend Robert Bonhall of the Episcopal Church of the Messiah. Each mmaber of the City C~uncil having received copies of the Minutes of June 15, 1959 and June 29, 1959, rea~ing of the Minutes was dispensed with and approved on motion of Coun¢1lm-- Hubbard, seconded by Brewer and carried. B~d acceptance Construct Raitt Street btn Olenwood Plase and Edinger Street A ta~!ation of bids was presented for the construction of Raitt Street between Glenwood Place and Edinger Street, Project No. ww~ as follows: Total S,,lly-Mll]er Contracting Co. $' 29,725.70 Cashiers Check $4000.00 Cox Bros. Construction ~,191.00 10~ bond Griffith Co. 35,711.50 $~300.00 bond R.J.Noble CO. ~0,~65.13 10~ bond motion of Counc~-~- Hubbard, seco~-d by Wa!l and carried, the low hid of $,11y-~il~er Contracting Co., in the total amount of $29,725.70W and at the Re-advertise for bids Widen 17th Street between Santiago Ave. and Grand Avenue -Project ~108 6~.%tY "Tustin and Fourth East Annex" Reso. No. 59-168 di~tri~ ~lassificatton unit prices specified in their bid, was accepted and all other bids rejected. On motion of Counc1!ma- Hubbard, seconde~ by wa~ ~a~ cax,~led, the Purchasing Agent was authorise~ to re-advertise for bids for the widening of Seventeenth Street between Santiago and Grand Avenues; bids to be opeue~ ~uly 20, 1959, and cancelling the previous .Minute Order dated June 1, 1959. This being the date set for heart-~ on the -n~xation of property consisting of apprort-ately 94 acres, located on the east side of Tustin Avenue, extending from 17th Street south to a point approwt:m~tely 540 feet north of center line of First Street , no protests were received, and the hearing was declared close~. The Council having ,,-~imously waive~ the re~t!-g of the l~eeolution, on motion of COuno~lw~n Gould, seconded by Hall and carried, the following Resolution entitled: '~esolution No. 59-168 requesting the l~-nt-g C~wmtssion to initiate proceedings to ~--Ee district classification" of that certain real property in the Cou~ of Or--ge, State of California, /_described as Assessor's Parcel Numbers 62-1~O-11 and 6~1~O-16, the same bet~ a portion of Lot 1 of the Felipe Yorha Tract, in "Tustin and Fourth ~ast Annex'~ fran R-1 District to C-1 District, /Xas considered and passed by the following vote:
