RESOLUTION NO. 80-24 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA AMENDING RESOLUTION NO. 58-281 TO CHANGE THE SALARY RANGES ASSIGNED TO THE MIDDLE-MANAGEMENT CLASS OF REDEVELOP~iENT REAL ESTATE OFFICER WHEREAS, on November 3, 1958, the City Council passed and adopted Resolution No. 58-281, revising and re-establishing the Basic Compensation Plan for all officers and employees of the City of Santa Aha; and WHEREAS, Section 1004, Article X of the City Charter of the City of Santa Aha requires the City Manager to prepare, install and maintain a position classification and pay plan subject to Civil Service Rules and Regulations and the approval of the City Council; and WHEREAS, the City Council has from time to time amended said Resolution; and WHEREAS, the City's Redevelopment Agency, at its meeting of December 17, 1979, recon~nended that the salary level for the middle-management class of Redevelopment Real Estate Officer be increased in order to recognize its increased job responsibili- ties and difficulty and to provide a level of renumeration commensurate with prevailing rates for similar work in other agencies; and WHEREAS, the City Council desires to maintain the relevancy and equity of the Basic Compensation Plan. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Santa Ana: 1. That Section 3 of Resolution No. 58-281, as amended, is hereby further amended by changing, as next hereinafter set out, the previously-approved two-year salary range adjustment schedule assigned to the class of Redevelopment Real Estate Officer: Effective Date Assigned Salary Rate Ranges Current Revised February 1, 1980 July 1, 1980 458 ($1950-$2369) 478 ($2150-$2613) 472 ($2086-$2536) 492 ($2299-$2796) 2. That this Resolution shall be operative from and after February 1, 1980.
