Hubbard <br /> <br /> The Council having unanimously waived the reading of the Ordinance, on motion of <br /> <br /> Councilman Could, seconded by Hubbard and carried, the following OrdJn~,ce entitled: <br /> <br /> "Ordinance No. NS-BSO declaring the annexation of that certain <br /> territory designated 'Narbor a~l Talhert N. E. An~x"" <br /> <br /> was considered and passed by the following vote: <br /> <br /> Ayes, Counctl~n Royal E. Hubbard, Stanley C. Gould, Jr., Bob Bre~r, <br /> A. A. Ne~n~y <br /> <br /> It/was moved by Councilman C~uld, seconded by Brewer and carried, that action be <br /> continued until August 3, 1959 on Ordinance amending Section 9250 of the Santa Aha <br /> Municipal Code by repealing parts thereof, which said parts have been superseded by <br /> the establishment of future right-of-way lines. <br /> <br /> The ~c~ having unanimously waived the reading of the Ordnance, on motion of <br /> <br /> COunCilman Gould, secon~d by Brev~r and carried, the following Ordinance entitled: <br /> <br /> "Ordinance No. NS-381 amending Article IX of the Santa Ama <br /> MsAuicil~ Code to adopt Sectional District Maps 2-5-10, <br /> B-5-10, 9-5-10, 12-5-~0, 13-5-10, 15-5-10, and 16-5-10, <br /> and to amend 10-5-10 and 16-5-10 to show the establishment <br /> and amendment of district classifications in the Sections <br /> affected thereby" <br /> <br /> and Amendment Applications Nos. 270, 271, 272, 273 and 274 initiated by the Pl~-~ing <br /> Commission and Amendment Application No. 275 filed by the Le~-wdt Corporation, was <br /> considered and passed by the following vote:: <br /> <br /> Ayes, Councilmen Royal E. Heinly <br /> <br /> It was moved by Counc11man Hubbard, seconded by Gould and carried, that action he <br /> continued until the next regular meeting on Ordi~_a~ce regulating the licensing of <br /> Pawnbrokers an~ the Ordinance relatimg to traffic regulations, and the Attorney <br /> instructed to furnish copies of the Ordinances to the Council prior to the meeting. <br /> On motion of Councilm~n Nubbard, seconded by Gould and carried, .the following <br /> Ordinance entitled: <br /> <br /> . "Ordinance amending Section 7205 of the Santa Aha Mmmicipal Code <br /> relating to driveway permits" <br /> <br /> was introduced, considered and placed on file for second reading. <br /> <br /> Communication was presented by Mrs. Priscilla Worcester, Chairm~n, Recreation <br /> Committee, John A~-m~ School P.T.A., urging the City to purchase enough additional <br /> land to complete the present John Adams School - Park to meet the future recreatio-el <br /> needs of the community. On motion of Councilman Gould, secoaded by Hubbard and <br /> carried, the c~=~-~nication was received, filed and referred to the Parks and <br /> Recreation Depar:~nt for study, recommendation and report as to whether or not it <br /> is necessary or feasible to increase park facilities at the John A~,~ School. <br /> <br /> On motion of Councilman Hubbard, seconded by Brewer and carried, the communications <br /> from Charles C. Brisco, member of the Personnel Board, Thomas N. McMichael and F.W. <br /> Steiner, members of the Planning C~mm!~sion, and Glen Evans member of the Board of <br /> Recreation and Parks, advising of their desire to again serve on the various B~ards <br /> <br /> <br />
