RESOLUTION NO. 80-52 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA AMENDING RESOLUTION NO. 58-281 TO ADD THE NEW CLASS TITLE OF PARKS RENOVATION SUPERVISOR FOR THE PURPOSE OF ALLOCATING LIMITED-TERM POSITIONS ASSIGNED TO A FEDERALLY FUNDED PARKS BEAUTIFICATION AND MANPOWER TRAINING PROJECT WHEREAS, on November 3, 1958, the City Council passed and adopted Resolution No. 58-281, revising and re-establishing the Basic Compensation Plan for all offi- cers and employees of the City of Santa Ana; and WHEREAS, Section 1004, Article X of the City Charter of the City of Santa Ana requires the City Manager to prepare, install and maintain a position classifica- tion and pay plan subject to Civil Service Rules and Regulations and the approval of the City Council; and WHEREAS, the City Council has from time to time amended said Resolution; and WHEREAS, it is now desired to add, on a temporary basis coincident with the duration of funding of the CETA-funded Parks Beautification and Manpower Training Project, a new class title to the list of class titles contained in said Resolution No. 58-281, as amended, and to allocate salary and wage schedules thereto. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Santa Ana: 1. That Section 3 of Resolution No. 58-281, as amended, is hereby further amended by: a. Adding, in proper alphabetical sequence the class title of PARKS RENOVATION SUPERVISOR, and b. Assigning, in accordance with the current two-year salary adjustment schedule, said new class to the salary rate ranges on the effective dates as next herein set out: Effective Date Monthly Salary Rate Ranges No. Minimum - Maximum December 1, 1979 336 $1075 - $1307 July 1, 1980 350 $1151 - $1399 2. That this Resolution shall be operative from and after December 1, 1979.
