Heinly <br /> <br />The P~dge of Allegianc~ was given. <br /> <br />Invocation was given by Reverend George Burch of the Community Church. <br /> <br />Each member of the Cit~ Council havL-~ received copies of the Minutes of <br />August 17, 1959, it was moved by Councilman Hubbard, seconded by Gould <br />and carried, that the Minutes of August 17, 1959, in Record Book 20, <br />Page 244,with reference to Amendment ~pl~cation No. 279, filed- by <br />George Barsumian, Jr. et al, regardi~ rAclassification of the proper~y <br />be corrected to read as follows: "be reclassified from the R-1 to the <br />A-1 and C-2-PE Districts," and said Minutes, as corrected, were approved. <br /> <br />Presentation of <br />National Safety Council <br />Driver Awards to Postal <br />Carriers <br /> <br />Acting Postmaster Novel Jam-s commended Assistant Postmaster L. G. Schaitzerling for <br />for his excellent service in his over for~y years employment. He then presented <br />awards for safe driving habits to the following postal carriers: i year, Leo Brown; <br /> <br />2 years, Jim Harris; 12 years, Carl Houppner, and 13 years, Francis Harvey.
