<br />On motion of Councilman Hubbard, seconded by Gouldand carried, the bid of the
<br />American Seating Compan~was accepted at tb~ modified contract price of $3,892.22,
<br />which deleted the furnishing of 16 hand, s with hardware, in the amount of $9.60,
<br />and deletion of 126 quick action latchclamps, intb~ amount of $58.97.

<br />This being the date set for hearing to vacate portions of Smeltzer, Sugar and
<br />Fairview Avenues, and Clinton and Kellogg Streets near the East Bank of the Santa
<br />Ana River; no p~otests were received and the hearing was closed. The Council having
<br />unanimously waived the reading of the Resolution, on motion of Councilman Hubbard,
<br />seconded by Brewer and carried, the following Resolution entitled:

<br /> "Resolution No. 59-229 declaring the vacation of portions of
<br /> Smeltzer, Sugar, and Fair~iew avenues~ and Clinton and Kellogg
<br /> Streets near the East Bank of the Santa Ana River"

<br />This being the date set for hearing on Amendment Application No. 280, filed by

<br />Duay~e D. Christensen, to a~end Sectior~l District Map 9-5-10, Exhibit B, and to
<br />reclassify fzom R-1 District to C-1-PK District, property located at the southeast
<br />corner of the intersection of Fifth and Verano Streets; size of property involved
<br />is 181.98 feet by 160.67 feet;no protests were received and the hearing was closed.
