C. Axelson, et al, creating three parcels, <br />located generally on the east side of Standard Avenue and south of McFadden Avenue, <br />subject to conditions. Mr. J. W. Reagan, 2027 N. Main Street, Engineering Repre- <br />sentative of Mr. Ralph Sielaff, stated Mr. Sielaff applied for and was granted a <br />variance on 3-1/2 acres in the middle of this parcel. The Manager asked that <br /> <br />Mr. Reagan submit a statement requesting a continuation of hearing to October 5~ <br />1959. O~ motion of Councilman Hubbard, seconded by Gould and carried, action was <br />continued until October 5, 1959, on Preliminary Record of ~urvey, filed by <br /> <br />J. C. Axelson, et al. <br /> <br />Communication was read from the Planning Department recommending approval of <br />Tentative Tract Map 2033, filed by Savage Construction Compan~r, creating 51 single- <br />family residential lots and leaving one large paroelfor possible cca~ercial devel- <br />opment; located generally at the' southwest corner of Bolsa Avenue (First Street) <br />and Verano Street, subject to conditions. Mr. Savage stated that he would like to <br />file a Record of Survey, concurrent with survey map showing the area as not a part <br />of the subdivision, leaving ~mprovements and actual construction as the responsi- <br />bility of the property ~vners. Objection was made as to conditions 5, 7 and 8, add <br />he requested deferrment of action until September 21st. On motion of Counc~ lnmn <br />Hubbard, seconded by Gould and carried, action was continued ~-util September 21st, <br />in order that these matters may be clarified. <br /> <br />Communication was read from the Planning Departmout recommending approval of <br />Preliminary ~cord of Survey Map, filed by Cecil DeVore, on property located on <br />the norbh side of Brook Street, and 80 feet west of the center line of South <br /> <br />Baker Street, subject to cc~ditions. On motion of Councilman Gould, seconded by <br />Hubbard and carrie~ the Preliminary Record of Survey Map was approved, filed by <br /> <br />Cecil DeVore, subject to conditions. <br />. <br />On motion of Councilman Hubbard, seconded by Gould and carried, Map of Tract No. <br />3531, filed by Cardinal Homes, for the dedication of Fairview Street, Marine <br />Street, King Street, Everglade Street, Sullivan Street, DahlLane, Wilshire Place, <br />LaVerne Avenue, Elder Avenue, and Oorchar~ Avenue, and dedication of vehicular <br />access rights to Fairview Street, except street intersections, and bond in the <br />sum of $146~O00.00 were approved, license fee in the sum of $6,150.00 accepted, <br /> <br />and agreement covering improvements ordered signed. <br />. <br />On motion of Councilman Hubbard, seconded by Gould and carried, Map of Tract No. <br />3387, filed by Villa-Riviera Development, I~., for the dedication of Morningside <br />Avenue, West Street, EXaiue Drive, and Sunswept Avenue,was approved, subject to <br />the filing of proper bond in the amount of $39,000.00; license fee in the amount <br /> <br />of $1~700.00 accepted,and agreement covering !mprovemente ordered signed. <br />. <br />Communication was read rrm the Planning Department recommending approval of <br />Prel~mfiuary Record of Survey, filed by Santa Fe Land Improvement Company, creating <br />three indmstrial parcels located generally at the southwest corner of McFadden <br />Avenue and Ritchey Street, subject to conditions. On motion of Councilman Gould, <br />seconded by Hubbard and carried, Prel~m~uary Record of Survey map, filed b.y Santa <br />Fe Land Improvement Compare, was approved, subject to conditions. <br /> <br /> <br />
