<br />Communication was read frmm the Planning Department changing Condition No. 3 on
<br />Preliminary Record of Survey, filed by J. C. Axelson, et al, creating three
<br />parcels, located general~v on the east side.of Standard AVenue, south of .McFadden
<br />Avenue, and subject to conditions. On motion of Councilman Hubbard, and secc~ded
<br />by Brewer, ~ Preliminary Record of Survey map was approved and Con-
<br />dition No. 3 was changed to read "40 feet from center line of Standard Avenue
<br />to property line." Mr. J. W. Reagan, 2027 North Main Street, representing
<br />
<br />Mr. Axelson, said that two parcels of this property was sold before map was approved~
<br />and since there are now actually three er four owners involved, would it be agree-
<br />able with Planning Commission iE item 7 regarddng dedications is made now but improve-
<br />ments later as each owner improves his own piece of property, which would be agree-
<br />able to the o. ners. Councilman Hubbard withdrew his motion with the consent of the
<br />second. On motion of Councilman Heinly, seconded by Hubbard and carried, Prelimin-
<br />ary Record of Survey, fLled by J. C. Axelson, et al, on behalf of all four property
<br />u,~rs, was approved, subject to cc~ditions heretofore recommended, and the one
<br />condition which was eliminated, "No. 7," read that all i~provements be made in accord-
<br />ance with the design standards and specifications of the City's Subdivision Ordin-
<br />ance, and that said improvements shall be made prior to the issuance of any building
<br />permit, and the Building Department shall be sc instructed as each lot is individually
<br />
<br />im proved."

<br />Cmmmunicatic~ was read from the Planning Department recommending approval of Prelim-
<br />inary Record of Survey, filed by Carl O. Johnson, creating four lots located generally
<br />on the north side of Harvard Street, approximately 940 feet west of Greenville Street,
<br />subject to conditic~s. Mr. Leo J. Friis, in partnership with Mr. Johnson, stated
<br />there is a 230 foot frontage on this lot and there are two dwellin~on this property,
<br />both with sanitary facilities. At this time a second house is being relocated with
<br />the approval of the Building Departmer~, and objected to installing sidewalks, curbs
<br />and gutters, the installation of the sewer and improvement of Harvard Street. On
<br />motion of Councilman Heinly, seconded by Hubbard and carried, Preliminary Record
<br />of Survey, filed by Carl O. Johnson, was approVed, subject to all cmditions, and
<br />proper officials authorized to e~ter into an agreement with Mr. Johnson,that in the
<br />event any property owner requests permission to connect onto the sower, they pay
<br />
<br />their front foot cost.

<br />Map No. 3533, filed by Rom Investment Company, on property owned by J. C. Axelson

<br />of Newpc~t Beach and G. O. Carlsc~ of Carmel, creating 45 lots intended for multiple-
<br />
<br />family dwellings and 45 lot fragments intended for parking facilities, located gener-
<br />
<br />ally on the east side of Standard Avenue, approximately 875 feet south of McFadden
<br />
<br />Street, was approved, subject to conditions.

<br />were authorized to execute the following agreements:
