No. NS-402 <br />Establish R/~ lines <br />Newhope St. and <br />Smeltzer Ave. <br /> <br />The Council having unanimouslywaived the reading of the Resolution· on motion of <br /> <br />Councilman Hubbard, seconded by Rrewer and carried, the following Resolution entitled: <br /> <br /> "Resolution No. 59-268 authorizing condemnation of certain real property <br /> on the west side of Fa~rview Avenue at Edinger Street for storm drain <br /> purposes" <br /> <br />was considered and passed by the following vote: <br /> <br />Ayes, Councilmen Royal E. Hubbard, Stanley C. Gould, Jr., Dale H. Heinly, <br /> Bob Brewer, A. A. Hall <br />Noes· Councilmen None <br />Absent, Councilmen None <br /> <br />The Council having unanimously waived the reading of the Resolution, on motion of <br />Councilman Hubbard~ sec~dedbyHeinlyand and carried, the following Resolution <br />entitled: <br /> <br /> "Resolution No. 59-269 accepting deeds where City is paying <br /> no cash consideration" <br /> <br />from The Roman CathelicArchbishop of Los Angeles for street easement forFairview <br />Street south of Harvard; from Electronic Engineering Company of California for <br />street easement for the widening of Chestnut Avenue east of McClay; from Eva, 'Kenneth <br />and Ray Price for street easement for the west half of Fairview north of Edinger; <br />from Kenneth C. Price and Marcia Huber Price for street easements over portions of <br />Fairview, Edinger, McFadden and Sullivan, and the other for portions of Fairview <br />and McFadden, north of Edinger; from Margaret L. Hall for street easement along the <br />south side of McFadden and west side of Standard, together with a spandrel corner; <br />and from Delhi-Main Industrial Park for street easement for Broadway Street, the <br />East half of Birch Street, a 29-foot strip for the widening on the south side of <br />Delhi west of Main, and an East and West alley south of Delhi, and vehicular access <br />rights to Delhi Road from said lands lying south thereof, and a drainage easement <br />southerly from said street easements for Birch Street and Broadway, approximately <br />794 feet, and an East and West 12-foot drainage easement 668 feet in leah con- <br />necting said two north and south easements; and an Agreement dated July 7, 1959, <br />agreeing as owner of the real property lying south of the area presently being <br />developed to accept surface drainage from said area~ was considered and passed by <br /> <br />the following vote: <br /> <br />Ayes, Councilmen <br /> <br />Noes · Count ~ 1 <br />Absent, Councilmen <br /> <br /> Royal E. Hall <br /> None <br /> None <br /> <br />On motion of Councilman Hubbard, seconded by Heinly and carried, the following <br />Ordinance entitled: <br /> <br /> "Ordinance amending Santa Ana Municipal Code Section 6391.9 <br /> regulating pawn brokers~ hours" <br /> <br />was introduced, considered and placed on fLle for second reading. <br /> <br />The Council having unanimously waived the reading of the Ordinance, on motion of <br />Councilman Hubbard· seconded by Brewer and carried, the following Ordinance entitled: <br /> <br /> "Ordinance NS-401 establishing future right-of-way lines along both <br /> sides of Raitt Street between Fifth Street and Delhi Road" <br /> <br />was considered and passed by the following vote: <br /> <br />Ayes, CounciLmen Royal E.
