Council Chamber Santa Ana City Hall October 26, 1959 7:30 P.M. City Council met in adjourned regular session. Meeting called to order by the Vice-M~or. Present: Councilmen Absent: Councilmen Royal E. Hubbard, Stanley Co Gould, Jr., Dale H. Heinly A. A. Hall, Bob Brewer The Vice-Mayor announced a previous meeting having been scheduled in the Council Chamber, the City Council will adjourn its meeting to the Mayor's office. Councilman Brewer arrived at 7:35 P.M. Hearing Amend. Appl. No. 288 initiated by Planning Commission Ordinance This being the date set for hearing on Amendment Application No. 288, initiated by Planning Commission, amending Sectional District Map 11-5-10, Exhibit B, to re- classify from R-1 District to C-1-PK District, property located cn the scuth side of Westminster Avenue, measured 200 feet frcm and at right angles to the survey center line of Westminster Avenue, between the east line of Berrydale Street and the Santa Aha River; no protests were received and the hearing was closed. On motion of Councilman Gould, seconded by Brewer and carried, the following Ordinance entitled: "Ordinance amending Article IX of the Santa Ana Municipal Code to change district classification on Amendment Application No. 288 and to amend Sectional District Map 11-5-10, Exhibit B" Hearing Amend. Appl. No. 289 initiated ~y Planning Commission Ordinance was introduced, considered and placed on file for second reading. This being the date set for hearing on Amendment Application No. 2§9, initiated by Planning Cc~mission, amending Sectional District Map 2-5-10, Exhibit B, to re- classify from R-1 District to C-1-PK District, property located on the north side of Westminster Avenue, measured 200 feet from and at right angles to the survey center line of Westminster Avenue, between the east line of Berrydale Street and the Santa Aha River; no protests were received and the hearing was closed. motion of Councilman Gould, seconded by Brewer and carried, the following Ordinance entitled: "Ordinance amending Article IX of the Santa Ana Municipal Code to change district classification on Amendment Application No. 289 and to amend Sectional District Nap 2-5-10, Exhibit B,, Hearing Amend. Appl. No. 290 initiated by Planning Commission Ordinance was introduced, considered and placed on file for second reading. This being the date set for hearing on Amendment Application No. 290, initiated by Planning Co~ission, amending Sectional District Map 8-5-10, E~hibit B, to rec- classify from R-1 District to R-2 and C-1-PK Districts, properties located in the area surrounded by Hazard Avenue, Verano Street, Bolsa Avenue, and a line between Ha zard Avenue and Bolsa Avenue, measured approximately 1330 feet west of the center line of Verano Street; no protests were received and the hearing was closed. On motion of Councilman Gould, seconded by Heinly and carried, the following Ordinance entitled: "Ordinance amending Article IX of the Santa Ana Municipal Code to change district classification on Amendment Application No. 290 and to amend Sectional District Map 8-5-10, Exhibit B" was introduced, considered and placed on file for second reading.
