Head <br /> <br />This being the date set for hearing on Amendment Application No. 291, ~nitiated by <br />Planning Commission, amending Sectional District Map 17-5-10, Exhibit B, to reclas- <br />sify from R-1 District to C-1-PK District, ~property located at the southwest corner <br />of the intersection of Verano Street and Bolsa Avenue; approximate size of property <br />is 150 feet by 150 feet; no protests were received and the hearing was closed. On <br />motion of Councilman Gould~ seconded by Brewer and carried, the following Ordinance: <br />entitled: <br /> <br /> "Ordinance amending Article IX of the Santa Ana Municipal Code to <br /> change district classifica~ ion on Amendment Application No. 291 <br /> and to amend Sectional District Map 17-5-10, Exhibit B" <br /> <br />was introduced, considered and placed on file for second reading. <br /> <br />This being the date set for hearing on Amendment Application No. 293, filed by <br />Grace G. Lancaster, amending Sectional District Map 12-5-10, Exhibit B, to reclas- <br />sify from R-1 District to R-2 District, property on the west side of Baker Street <br />directly at the intersection of Baker and Fifteenth Streets; no protests were re- <br />ceived and the hearing was closed. On motion of Councilman Gould, seconded by <br />Heinly and carried, the following Grdinance entitled: <br /> <br /> "Ordinance amending Article IX of the Santa Ana Municipal Code to <br /> change district classification on Amendment Application No. 293 <br /> and to amend Sectional District Map 12-5-10, Exhibit B" <br /> <br />was introduced, considered and placed on file for second reading. <br /> <br />Communication was read from the Planning Department rec~nmending approval of <br />Preliminary Record of Survey, filed by J. Freeman and J.R. and E. L. Mitchell~ <br />dividing a parcel located generally ou the west side of Bristol Street, approximately <br />526 feet south of Fairview Avenue, subject to conditions. Mr. James R. Mitchell <br />stated the property was originally purchased from Mr. J. Freeman, and they have held <br />separate deeds to this property;the property was zoned C-2 District until approxi- <br />mately one year ago and is now C-1 District. Mr. Mitchell said he plans on improv- <br />ing the property as a separate parcel. On motion of Councilman Gould~ seconded by <br />Brewer and carried, Preliminary Record of Survey Map was approved subject to con- <br />ditions of the Department of Public Works, and the conditions imposed shall be <br />complied with on each parcel prior to the issuance of a Utilities Release. Council- <br />man Heinly disqualified himself on this matter. <br /> <br />Communication was read fr~n the Planning Department recommending approval of Pre- <br />liminary Record of Survey, filed by Bud Armfield, rearranging lot lines affecting <br />two lots located generally on the west side of Sullivan Street, approximately 250 <br />feet south of Fifth Street, subject to conditions. Mr. J. W. Reagan~ 2027 N. Main <br />Street, representing the applicant, stated Mr. Armfield is agreeable to all con- <br />ditions, except the requirement of sidewalks along Sullivan Street, and said there <br />are no sidewalks there at the present time. On motion of Councilman Gould, seconded <br />by Brewer and carried, the Preliminary Record of Survey Map was approved, subject to <br />conditions, with the exception of the sidewalk requirement. <br /> <br />Con~unication was read from the Planning Commission recommending approval of Pre- <br />liminary Record of Survey, filed by R. S. Head, dividiug a parcel located at the <br />southwest corner of the intersection of Bolsa Avenue and Verano Street~ subject to <br />conditions. Attorney Richard Hamilton, representing Savage Construction Company, <br />now in escrow with R. S. Head for the purchase of ten acres of this parcel to be <br />subdivided, said he had oral permission from R. S. Head to file the Preliminary <br />Record of Survey, and that Mr. Head would not consent to either dedication or <br /> <br /> <br />
