<br />trial parcels located generally north of Delhi Road, west of Fairview Street and
<br />
<br />east of SantaA~a River, in M-1 Industrial District, was approved, subject to con-
<br />
<br />ditions.

<br />Communication was read. from the Planning Department recommending approval of Tenta-
<br />
<br />tive Tract Map No. 3594, filed by Patty Lumber Company, creating 62 multiple family
<br />
<br />residential lots located generally south of the prolongation of Edinger Street,
<br />
<br />north of the prolongation of Occidental Street and west of Standard Avenue, subject
<br />
<br />to conditions. John M. Hey, representing the applicant, stated he has three lots
<br />
<br />south of Occdd~ntal Street, on which the developer is planning to constr~ct four-
<br />
<br />unit duplexes on all of the lots, and objected to the alley requirement. On motion
<br />of Councilman GoUld, seconded by Hubbard and carried, Tentative Tract Map No. 3594,i
<br />filed by Patty Lumber Compar~f, was approved, subject to conditions, and proceedings
<br />
<br />be instituted to abandon the alley.

<br /> bounded on the north by Chestnut Avenue, on the west by a line aoproximate[v
<br />property

<br />800 feet west of the S.P. Railroad, and on the east by a line approximately 3~6 feet
<br />west of the S.P, Railroad, and on the south by a line apprOX[mately.~2132 feet esuth
<br />of Chestnut Avenue, censisting of approximately 20 acres, or 78 lots, subject to conditions.
<br />On motion of Councilman Heinly, seconded by Hubbard and carried, proper officials
<br />were authorized to execute agreement dated November 2, 1959, with the Orange Countyi!
<br />
<br />Peace Officers Association, Inc., for one year, for use of the target range at the :i
<br />training center located on Struck Avenue, just east of the Santa Ana River, by 100
<br />members of the Police Department, ~at a consideration of $1,200.00.

<br />The COuncil having unanimously waived the reading of the Ordinance, on motion of

<br />Councilman Hubbard, seconded by Heinly and carried, the following Ordinance entitle.~:
