<br /> Seventeenth Street. Mr. O. Sanders, 1206 W. 18th Street, stated his client is
<br /> spending about $20~OO0. for a duplex and wants to install a driveway down the
<br /> middle of her property.

<br /> property on the west side of Baker Street directly at the intersection of Baker andi

<br />On motion of Councilman Hubbard, seconded by Gould and carried, action was deferred
<br />on Preliminary Record of Survey Map, filed by Mrs. R. N. Hockaday, until the next
<br />meeting, and the City Attorney instructed to submit a legal opinion on this matter.
<br />Communication was again read from the Planning De~m~tm&~ recommending denial of
<br />Preliminary Record of Survey, filed by Jim McHenry, creating one lot to the rear of
<br />two lots owned by Mells Trusty and Frances Davis, respectively, located at the nort~-
<br />west corner of Cypress Avenue and Hobart Street. Larry Golden, Surveyor, represent~
<br />lng the applicant, stated that the adjacent lot is a small one, about 55 feet deep.
<br />On motion of Councilman Hubbard, seconded by Heinty and carried, action was de-
<br />ferred until the next m~eting, and the City Attorney instructed to submit a legal
<br />opinion on this matter.

<br />Communication was again read from the Planning De~a~tme~ recommending approval of
<br />Preliminary Record of Survey, filed by Ed Hall, creating three parcels loeated gen-
<br />erally south of Edinger Street extension and west of Standard Avenue north of the
<br />extension of Occidental Street, subject to couditions. Mr. Ed Hall stated he had
<br />made several attempts to comply with the Ordinance dealing with the sale of four
<br />or less parcels and is agreeable to all of the conditions, provided he has the
<br />cooperation of the other owners; that he has 4-1/2 acres on Standard Avenue and is
<br />willing to deed to the City sixty feet for the extension of Occidental Street.
<br />
<br />Mr. Hall explained that he sold to Messrs. Earl and Barker property on ths east
<br />side of Cedar Street, 320 feet long and 1Ofeet on alley way, and does not feel he
<br />shou~d be required to improve property he no longer owns. Councilman Heinly dis-
<br />qualified himself on this matter. Councilman Heinly ~eft the meeting at 10:45 P.N.
<br />and returned at 10:50 P.M. It was moved by Councilman Hubbard, seconded by Gould
