RESOLUTION NO. 80- 128 <br />PAGE TWO <br /> <br />"It is understood that if the Governor and <br />Legislature so act, any funds resulting <br />therefrom which would cause the city to <br />exceed a spending limit imposed by a vote <br />of the people of the City of Santa Ana or <br />the State of California shall, in accordance <br />with the provisions of the limitation, be <br />returned to the people. <br /> <br />"Further, it is the will of the people that the <br />Governor and Legislature enact such allocation <br />into law no later than July 1, 1980, to avoid <br />enactment of this proposal through the initiative <br />process to cure legislative default." <br /> <br /> 2. That the returns of said election have been <br />duly and regularly canvassed as provided by law, and all <br />absentee ballots returned, if any, have been canvassed as <br />provided by law, with said certification of canvass attached <br />hereto as "Exhibit A" and made a part hereof as if set forth <br />at length herein. <br /> <br /> 3. That the total votes cast at said election for <br />and against said propositions are set forth in said "Exhibit <br /> <br /> 4. That the votes of a majority of all of the <br />voters voting at said election upon Proposition S were cast <br />in favor of the adoption of said proposition, and said <br />proposition is hereby declared to have been carried at said <br />election. <br /> <br /> 5. That the votes of a majority of all of the <br />voters voting at said election upon Proposition T were cast <br />in favor of the adoption of said proposition, and said <br />proposition is hereby declared to have been carried at said <br />election. <br /> <br /> 6. That the votes of a majority of all of the <br />voters voting at said election upon Proposition U were cast <br />in favor of the adoption of said proposition, and said <br />proposition is hereby declared to have been carried at said <br />election. <br /> <br /> 7. That the votes of a majority of all of the <br />voters voting at said election upon Proposition V were cast <br />in favor of the adoption of said proposition, and said <br />proposition is hereby declared to have been carried at said <br />election. <br /> <br /> 8. That the votes of a majority of all of the <br />voters voting at said election upon Proposition W were cast <br />in favor of the adoption of said proposition, and said <br />proposition is hereby declared to have been carried at said <br />election. <br /> <br /> <br />
