<br />
<br />Iuvocatioa was given by Reverend Robert C. Bos of the First Presbyterian Church.

<br />Each member of the City Council having received copies of the Minutes of
<br />November 2, November 7 and November 9, 1959, reading of the Minutes was
<br />dispensed with and approved on motion of Councilman Hubbard, seconded by
<br />Heinly and carried.

<br />On motion of Councilman Gould, seconded by Hubbard and carried, the low bid of
<br />
<br />Colony Ford Company was accepted for items 1, 2, ~, 5 and 6, in the total amount
<br />
<br />of $20,788.14, and the low bid of McMurtrie-Payne Corporatien was accepted for
<br />
<br />Hearing

<br />Ordinance
<br />
<br />item 3, in the amoUnt of $1,533.12, and all other bids were rejected.
<br />
<br />This being the date set for hearing on ~mendment Application No. 295, initiated by
<br />the P]-B~-tng Commission, amending Sectional District Map 10-5-10, as shown on
<br />E~hibit B, to reclassify from the R-1 District to the R-2 District, properties in
<br />
<br />the West Santa Aha Annex within the area bounded by Westminster Avenue, Seventeenth
<br />Street, Harbor Boulevard, and Bolsa-First Street, and Sullivan-King-Berrydale
<br />
<br />Streets; protest was read from W. R. Prosch, Sr., 322 No. Figueroa Street, and on
<br />
<br />motion of Councilman Brewer, seconded by Hubbard and carried, the protest was re-
<br />
<br />ceived and filed. H. M. Sanderson, 3411 W. Camile Street and W. I. Jackson,
<br />
<br />3621 W. Cam ~ Street, asked if their district was under consideration for rezon-
<br />
<br />ing at this time, and the Mayor advised that it was not, and the petition signed
<br />
<br />by thirteen perso~s residing on W. Camilm Street was returned to Mr. Sanderson.
<br />
<br />No other protests were received and the hearing was closed. On motion of Co~ucilman
<br />
<br />Hubbard, seconded by Brewer and carried, the following Ordinance entitled:
<br />
<br />"Ordinance amending Article IX of the Santa Aha Municipal Cede to
<br />change district classification on Amendment Application No. 295,
<br />and to amend Sectional District Map lO-5-10"
<br />
<br />was introduced, considered and placed on file for second reading.
