<br />from Sentiago Strea~.~oGrand Aveuue," Project No. 108, and
<br />
<br /> From Orange County Farmers Mutu~ Fire Insurance Company for an extension of
<br />the December 1 possessio~ date to the City, to February 1, 1960, of easement over the
<br />westerly 12 feet of Main Street, as the new building will not be completed for occu-
<br />pancy before approximately January 1, 1960.

<br />On motion of Councilman Hubbard, seconded by Gould and carried, the Purchasing ~ent

<br />was authorized to advertise for bids for the improvement of McCi~y Street, between
<br />
<br />McFadden Street and Chestnut Avenue, Project:Nc.liS; and improvement of Chestnut
<br />
<br />Avenue, between McClay and Lyon Streets, and McClay Street from Chestnut Avenue,
<br />Project C-~i; bids to be opened December 21, 1959.

<br />The request of the Bank of America, 17th-Tustin Branch, for a survey concerning
<br />
<br />~he possibility of re-painting the "Stop" indicators on Tuetin Road and pedestrian
<br />
<br />crosswalks on both Tustin Road and Seventeenth Streets at this intersection, was
<br />
<br />t-Wen off cal~Ba-w until the next meeting.
<br />
<br />The request of H. M. Nichols, Supervisor Business Services of City Schools, for a
<br />
<br />crossing guard somewhere along the Greenville Ro~t, between Edinger Street an~ Delhi
<br />
<br />Road, for the safety of children going to and coming frem the John Adams School, was
<br />
<br />taken off calendar until the next me. eting.
