A. ~all <br /> Noes, Councilmen None <br /> Absent, Councilmen None <br /> <br /> On motian of Councilman Hubbard, seconded by Brewer and carried, the request from <br /> Counc~lma~ Hetnly was granted for a leave of absence from November 2S to December S, <br /> 1959, to attend the 36th Amaual American Municipal Congress in Denver, November 29 <br /> through December 2, 1959. <br /> <br /> The ~ouncil having unauimeusly waived the reading of the Resolution, on motion of <br /> Council,mB Gould, seconded by Hubbar~ and carried, the following Resolution entitled: <br /> <br /> "Reselutio~ No. 59-297 concerning parking 1Am~tations and <br /> curb markings in accordance therewith" <br /> <br />removing loading zone on the west side of Shelton S~reet, between Fifth end Sixth <br />Streets, as recommended by the Department of Public Works, was considered and passed <br />by the following vote: <br /> <br />Ayes, Councilmen Royal E. Hubbard, Stanley C. G~ld, Jr., Dale H. Heinly, <br /> Bob Brewer, A. A. Hall <br />Noes, Councilmen None <br />Absent, Councilmen None <br /> <br />On motien of Counci~a~ Gould, seconded by Hubbard and carried, the Purchasing Agent <br />was authorized to advertise for bids for the furnishing of five various Special <br />Service Truck Bodies, Specification No. 621-20; bids to be opened December 7, 1959. <br />On motion of Council~um Hubbard, seconded by Ne!~ly and carried, the com..,~ication <br />signed by Edward W. Miltenburg, together with map and a petition signed by approxi- <br />mately 36 persons residing within the area of the proposed "South Santa Aha Annex <br /> <br />No. 2", requesting that Santa Ana and Costa Mesa terminate their present annexation <br />proceedings insofar as the same includes their area, and officially adopt the written <br />Decla~ation of Policy, ~re received and filed. <br /> <br />The Council having vn~tmously waived the reading of the Resolution, on motion of <br />Councilman Hubbard, seconded by Heinly and carried, the following Resolutien entitled: <br /> <br /> "Resolution No. 59-298 accepting deeds where the City <br /> iS pa~ing no cash consideration" <br /> <br />from Edward Gonmales and ~,.alia Gonzales, Vicente Gonzales, Vincent G. Gonzales, Jr. <br />and Socorro R, Gonzales, for street easement on the east side of ~lish Street, <br />north of Eighth; from Lillian May Warhurst and w~eworth N. Warhurst, for street <br />easement on the east side of Main Street, north of Twentieth Street; from Paul R. <br />Elston and Lyla S. Elston, for street easement on the north side of Smeltzer, west <br />of Palm, was considered and passed by the following vote: <br /> <br />Ayes, Councilmen <br /> <br />Noes, Councilmen <br />Absent, Councilmen <br /> <br />Royal E.
