Injuries On motion of Councilman Gould, seconded by Hubbard smd carried, the claim of <br /> <br />Alice L. Smart, in the amount of $291,000.0~ against the County of Orange and the <br /> <br />~ouncil Policy <br />!~etropolitan <br />l~ater District <br /> ~- ,'~ <br /> <br /> ~uthorize Attorney <br /> institute liti- <br /> ~ations on certain <br /> · unexat ions <br /> <br />City of Santa Ana, for the death of Paul Leon Sm~t and alleged injuries to her~ <br />due to the dangerous roadway condition of Delhi Road at the intersection of Rene <br />Drive, was referred to the City Attorney and Insurance Carrier. <br /> <br />It was moved by Councilman Gould~ seconded by Hubbard and carried~ that the City <br />Council go on record declaring they have au interest in the introduction of new and <br />supplemental supply of Metropolitan Water District water in eastern Orange County, <br />and that any such water pipe line be constructed of sufficient size and at locationa <br />where they can be of service to the City of Santa Aha for its future water needs. <br /> <br />It was moved by Councilman Heinly, seconded by Gould and carried~ that the City <br />Attorney be authorized to institute litigation, if necessary, in the "South Santa <br />Aha Annex No. 2" and "Costa Mesa Paularino No. 1" annexations. <br /> <br />On motian of Councilman Gould, seconded hy Hubbard and carried, the City Council <br />adjourned. <br /> <br />Clerk ~f the' 0ou~eit <br /> <br /> <br />
