<br />

<br />On motion of Councilman Brewer, seconded by Hubbard and carried, the Manager was
<br />instructed to take immediate steps to eliminate the pigeon problem in the down-
<br />town area, in accordance with the~Procedure exercised by the City of Burbank.
<br />Donald A. Hart, 232-I Spurgeon Street, pretested that since September, 1957~ the
<br />occupant of property at 2313 Spurgeon Street has been conducting a woodcutting
<br />
<br />business in an R-1 residential district, and that trucks, equipment and transientll
<br />workmen are present on the premises. On motion of Councilman Heinly, seconded by!
<br />
<br />Gould and carried, the Manager was instructed, when it is called to his att~n-
<br />
<br />tion, to notify any persons who are operating a business in an R-1 residential
<br />
<br /> district illegally, to cease and desist.
