<br />Streets, and
<br /> Project ll9 for the widening of Fifth Street between the Pacific Electric
<br />Railroad and the West City Limits.

<br />The Council having unanimeus]~y waived the reading of the Resolution, on motion of

<br />Councilman Heinly, seconded by Hubbard and carried, the following Resolution
<br />
<br />entitled:

<br /> markings in accordance therewith; also repealing and rescinding

<br />establishing a red zone On the west side of Bristol Street, between Martha Lane

<br />and the centerline of Seventeenth Street, and the installation of "No Parking Any
<br />Time" signs on the east side of Bristol Street between Seventeenth and Eighteenth
<br />Streets; on the west side of Bristol Street between Seventeenth Street and 129
<br />
<br />feet south of the centerline of Twenty-first Streets and the west side of Bristol
<br />
<br />Street between Martha Lane and the centerline of Seventeenth Street, as recommended

<br />On motion of Councilman Brewer, seconded by Hubbard and carried, the Manager was
<br />instructed to take immediate steps to eliminate the pigeon problem in the down-
<br />town area, in accordance with the~Procedure exercised by the City of Burbank.
<br />Donald A. Hart, 232-I Spurgeon Street, pretested that since September, 1957~ the
<br />occupant of property at 2313 Spurgeon Street has been conducting a woodcutting
<br />
<br />business in an R-1 residential district, and that trucks, equipment and transientll
<br />workmen are present on the premises. On motion of Councilman Heinly, seconded by!
<br />
<br />Gould and carried, the Manager was instructed, when it is called to his att~n-
<br />
<br />tion, to notify any persons who are operating a business in an R-1 residential
<br />
<br /> district illegally, to cease and desist.
