Council Chamber <br />Santa Aha City Hall <br />March 7, 1960 7:30 P.M. <br /> <br />City Council met in regular session. <br />Meeting called to order by the Mayor. <br /> <br />Present: <br /> <br />Councilmen Royal E. Hubbard, Stanley C. Gould, Jr. <br /> Dale H. Heinly, Bob Brewer, Ao A. Hall <br /> <br />Absent: Councilmen None <br /> <br />The Pledge of Allegiance was given. <br /> <br />Invocation was given by Mr. Harold Hinrichs of St. Peter's Lutheran Church. <br /> <br />Each member of the City Council having received copies of the Minutes of <br />February 15, 1960 and February 29, 1960, it was moved by Councilman <br />Hubbard, seconded by Brewer and carried, that the Minutes of February 15, <br />1960, in Record Book 20, Page BS1, with reference to Preliminary Record <br />of Survey, filed by L. and A. Thompson, be corrected to read: "that Prelim- <br />inary Record of Survey Map be approved, the condition of dedication be <br />presently met and that the sidewalks be constructed to the u~timate right- <br />of-way line; said sidewalks be constructed individually as applied to the <br />lots, to be constructed prior to the issuance of a Utilities Release, and <br />all other conditions be deleted, striking out the word 'imposed' and sub- <br />stituting the word 'deleted'"; also, Minutes of February 15, 9960, in <br />Record Book 20~ Page 379, wherein Variance Application No. 1257~ filed by <br />Rom Investment Company, was denied, after which the words "without preju- <br />dice'' be inserted, and said Minutes, as corrected, were approved. <br /> <br />Bid acceptance <br />Widening Fairview St. <br />Project No. 117; <br />Widening Delhi Road <br />Project No. ll8; and <br />Widening Delhi Road <br />Project No. C-42 <br /> <br />tabulation of bids was presented for the widening of Fairview Street, between <br /> <br />Delhi Road and Edinger Street, Project No. 117; for the widening of Delhi Road, <br /> <br />between Harbor Boulevard and Greenville Street, Project No. 1].8; and for the widen- <br /> <br />ing of Delhi Road, between Shelton and Flower Streets, Project No. C-h2, as follows: <br /> Total Bond <br /> <br />Cox Bros. J. <br /> <br />Noble Company, in the total amount of $69,147.60, and at the unit prices specified <br /> <br />Hearing <br />Amend. Appl.No.305 <br />James M. Gotamo <br />Ordinance <br /> <br />in their bid, wa. accepted, and all other bids rejected. <br /> <br />This being the date set for hearing on Amendment Application No. 305, filedMb.~ja~S <br />amending Sectional District Map 16-5-10, to reclassify from the C-2-PK end A-1 <br /> <br />Districts to the C-1-PKDis~ri~,property consisting of approximately nine acres, <br />located at the southeast corner of Bolsa Avenue (proposed. 120-foot major arterial) <br /> <br />and Verano Street (proposed lOb-foot primary street); Planning C~ission reco~aended <br /> <br />approval of reclassification to C-1-PK instead of C-2 District; no protests were re- <br /> <br />ceived and the hearing was closed. On motion of Councilman Hubbard, seconded by <br /> <br />Brewer and carried, the following Ordinance entitled: <br /> <br /> "Ordinance amending Article IX of the Santa ~na Municipal Code to change <br /> district classification on Amendment Application No. 305 and amending <br /> Sectional District Map 16-5-10" <br /> <br />was introduced, considered and placed on file for second reading. <br /> <br /> <br />
