Appl.No.308 <br />initiated by Plann.Comm. <br />Ordinance <br /> <br />Hearing <br />Establish future <br />right-of-way lines <br />Memory Lane and <br />Garden Grove Blvd. <br />Ordinance <br /> <br />This being the date set for hearing on ~mlendment Application No. 306, filed by <br />Southern California Edison Company, amending Sectional District Map 17-5-9, to <br />reclassify from the R,1 to the M-1 District, certain property on the south side of <br />McFadden Avenue, between Grand Avenue and Rltchey Street (southeast corner of Mc- <br />Fadden and Grand Avenues ) with approximately ~00-foot frontage on McFadden Avenue <br />and 970 feet on Grand Avenue; no protests were received and the hearing was closed. <br />On motion of Councilman Hubbard, seconded by Gould and carried, the following Ordi- <br />nance entitled: <br /> <br /> "Ordinance amending Article IX of the Santa Aha Municipal Code to change <br /> district classificatinn on Amena-,,nt Application No. 306 filed by the <br /> Southern California Edison Company and amending Sectional District <br /> Map 17-5-9" <br /> <br />was introduced, considered and placed on file for second readir~. <br /> <br />This being the date set for hearing on Amendment Application No. 307, initiated by <br />the Planning Commnission, amending Sectional District Map 2~-5-10, to reclassify <br />from the C to the C-1-PK District~ property bounded on the east by the center line <br />of Flower Street, on the south by th~ center line of Glenwood Place, on the west by <br />an alley approximately 175 feet west of the center line of Flower Street, and on <br />the north by a line approximately 339 feet north of the center line of St. Andrew <br />Place; no protests were received and the hearing was closed. On motion of Council- <br />man Gould, seconded by Hubbard and carried, the following Ordinance entitled: <br /> <br /> "Ordinance amending Article IX of the Santa Arm Municipal Code to change <br /> district classification on Amendment Application No. 307 initiated by <br /> the Planning Co~mission and amending Sectional District Map No. 24-5-10" <br /> <br />was introduced, considered and placed on file for second reading. <br /> <br />This being the date set for hearing on Amendment Application No. 308, initiated by <br />the Planning Ccmmuission, amending Sectional District Map 13-5-10, to reclassify <br />frc~ the C to the C-1-PK District, property bounded on the south by the center <br />line of McFadden Avenue, o~ the west by the center line of Bristol Street, ou the <br />north by a line approximately 175 feet north of the center line of McFadden Avenue, <br />and on the east by a line approximately 183 feet east of the center line of Bristol <br />Street; and property bounded on the north by the center line of McFadden Avenue, on <br />the west by the center line of Bristol Street, on the east by a line approxfmately <br />168 feet east of the center line of Bristol Street, and ou the south by a llne <br />approximately 180 feet south of the center line of McFadden Avenue; no pretests <br />were received and the hearin~ was closed. On motion of CounciLman Gould, seconded <br />by B~ewer and carried, the following Ordinance entitled: <br /> <br /> "ordinance amending Article IX of the Santa Aha Municipal Code to change <br /> district classification on Amendment Application No. 308 and amendir~ <br /> Sectional District Map 13-5-10" <br /> <br />was introduced, considered and placed on f~le for second reading. <br /> <br />This being the date set for hearing to establish future right-of-way lines on <br />Memory Lane and Garden Grove Boulevard, from Flower Street to the west corporate <br />limits (approxfmately 130 fee~wast of the center line of Townley Street) measured <br />50 feet from and at right angles to the survey center line. Mr. L. J. Sherwin, <br />2730 N. Flower Street, questioned what would happen to his property at the north- <br />west corner of Memory Lane and Flower Street, and the Manager advised the City will <br />procure twenty feet of the property to create a line back to the adjacent property. <br />Mr. A. F. Sckroeder~ ll20 Memory Lane, stated he is the owner of a house which <br />projects into the future right-of-way, and was advised by the Manager that the City <br /> <br /> <br />
