<br />ized to execute Change Order No. 16, dated March 17, 1960, with The Gallegos Cor-
<br />poratic~ for the Santa Arm Public Library, as follows: Item No. 1: Locate free
<br />Standing book stacks on west side of mezzanine as sho~n on this sheet, using the
<br />asphalt tile space as previously fixed and now in place, at the extra amount of
<br />
<br />It was moved by Councilman He!nly, seconded by Gould and carried, that proper offi~
<br />cials be authorized to execute Amended Escrow Instructions No. 42855-C, dated
<br />
<br />March 21, 1960, with the Orange County Famers Mutual Fire Insurance Company, a
<br />
<br />Corporation, for street easement over the westerly 12 feet of property at the
<br />northeast corner of Main and Eleventh Streets, for North Main Street widening,
<br />
<br />sideration of $40,000.00, and by stating that the consideration being paid through
<br />
<br />this escrow is compensation for d,m-ges to building, and is to be disbursed as set '
<br />
<br />out in original escrow instructions dated April 9, 1959.
<br />
<br />On motion of Councilman Gould, seconded by Heinly and carried, the Vice-~yor was
<br />authorized to enter into an agreement with the Atchison, Topeka and Santa Fe Rail-
<br />way Company, at a rental of $1.00 per year, for a small portion of property located
<br />
<br />in Santiago Day Camp, formerly used by the County of Orange.
<br />
<br />On motion of Councilman Heinly, seconded by Gould and carried, the City Council
<br />
<br />adjourned to Monday, March 28, 1960, at 5:30 P.M. in the Council Chamber.
