M. <br /> <br />City Council met in regular session. <br />Meeting called to order by the Mayor. <br /> <br />Present: <br /> <br />CounciLmen Royal E. Hubbard, Stanley C. Gould, Jr., <br /> Dale H. Heinly, Bob Brewer, A. A. Hall <br /> <br />Absent: Councilmen None <br /> <br />The Pledge of Allegiance was given. <br /> <br />Invocation was given by Reverend B. J. Usher, Aldersgate Methodist Church of Tustin. <br /> <br />Each member of the City Council having received copies of the Minutes of May 16, 1960, <br />reading of the Minutes was dispensed with and approved on motion of Councilman Gould, <br />seconded by Neinly and carried. <br /> <br />Bid withdrawal of <br />Barkley Pipeline <br />Construction~Inc. <br />on Projects 25 and 26 <br /> <br />The Manager reported receipt of a letter from Barkley Pipeline Construction, Inc., <br />indicating a major clerical error had been made by them in the method of presenting <br />their bids on the construction of a sanitary sewer from First Street to the inter- <br /> <br />section of 6th and Mabury Streets, and along First Street to the Fast City Limits, <br /> <br />Project 25; and the construction of a sanitary sewer north of Fruit Street to 17th <br /> <br />Street and Old Tustin Avenue, Project 26, and recommended that Cotmcil action be <br /> <br />taken to permit this Company to withdraw their bids. On motion of Councilman Heinly, <br /> <br />seconded by Hubbard and carried, the recommendation of the Manager was approved, <br /> <br />and the request of Barkley Pipeline Construction, Inc. granted to withdraw their <br /> <br />Bid acceptance <br />Sanitary Sewer <br />Fruit Street <br />Project 26 <br /> <br />bids, w~th instructions to the Clerk to notify this Company of Council's action. <br /> <br />A tabulation of bids was presented for the construction of a sanitary sewer north <br /> <br />of Fruit Street to 17th Street and Old Tustin Avenue, Project 26, as follows: <br /> <br />Leo Weiler Company <br />Elmer E.
