<br />Councilman Heinly presented to Robert Wright, President of the Chamber of Commerce
<br />
<br />in 1959, the original of Resolution No. 60-108 commending and extending official
<br />recognition by the City of Santa Ana to the Santa Aua Chamber of Commerce for the
<br />Award of Merit the Chamber received from the U. S. Chamber of Commerce.
<br />
<br />The Council having unanimously waived the reading of the Resolution, on motion of
<br />Councilman Hubbard, seconded by Heinly and carried, the following Resolution entitled:
<br />
<br /> "Resolution No. 60-109 accepting seven deeds where City is paying
<br /> cash consideration, one grant deed and one quitclaim deed where
<br /> City is paying no cash consideration"
<br />
<br />from Earl Leland Edney, for property on the northeast corner of Edinger and Baker
<br />Streets, in the sum of $12,000.00; from Arthur L., Harold O. and Alvin Rasmussen,
<br />Hilga Johnson and Lillian Wilkie, for property located in the Civic Center area, in
<br />the sum of $10,500.00; from The First Free Methodist Church of Santa Aha, for street
<br />easement on the east side of Bristol Street, south of Eighth Street, in the ~m of
<br />$750.00; from Peerless Concrete Pipe Corporation, for street easement on the north
<br />side of Fifth Street, on the east side of King Street, for no cash consideration;
<br />from Florence Pileh, for water main easement on the south side of Westminster Avenue,
<br />east of Harbor Boulevard, in the sum of $140.00; from Goodwill Industries of Orange
<br />County, for street easement on the south side of Fifth Street, west of Fairview, in
<br />the sum of $490.00; from Howard J. and Eloise J. Hales, Paul Walker Hales and Bar-
<br />bara D. Hales, for street easement on the north side of Fifth Street, east of Sulli-
<br />van, in the sum of $9~817.00; from James C. and Mildred Berrymaa, a
<br />Quitclaim deed~ conveyin~ their i~berest in said property
<br />without cash consideration; and from Alan H. and Frank Hadell, for street easement
<br />on the east side of Main Street, north of Edgewood Road, for no consideration for
<br />said land, but for the payment of $6,470.00 for cost of relocation of service
<br />station pumps, tanks, etc., aud moving all existing .~mprov~ments from the right-of-
<br />way now being acquired by the City, and all damages in connection therewith, if any~
<br />was considered and passed by the following vote:
