Hall <br /> <br />;iCalifornia State <br />iPersonnel Board <br /> <br />Assignment of Lease <br />(Defense Plant Corp. ) <br />Case-Swayne Co. <br /> <br />was authorized to execute Cost Service Contract with the California State Personnel <br />Board, for examining services during the fiscal year 1960-61. <br /> <br />On motion of Councilman Hubbard, seconded by Gould and carried, Assignment of Lease <br />dated May 9, 1960, assigning lease dated November l, 1943, which expires October B1, <br />1968, between the City and Defense Plant Corporation, and executed by Case-Swayne <br /> <br />Company, Inc., to the Security First National Bank, to permit the continuance of <br /> <br />encroachment of certain buildings on a public alley extending from Wright Street to <br /> <br />Mabury Street, between Fourth and Palm Streets, was received, filed and the Clerk <br /> <br />instructed to acknowledge receipt of Assignment of Lease to Security First National <br /> <br />Escrow <br />Instructions <br /> <br />It was moved by Councilman Hubbard, seconded by Brewer and carried, that escrow <br /> <br />instructions be approved and signed for certain properties with the following <br /> <br />persons, a Church and companies: <br /> <br /> Escrow Instruetions dated May 18, 1960, with Earl Leland Edney, for property <br />on the northeast corner of Edinger and Baker Streets, in the sum of $12,0OO.00, <br /> <br /> Escrow Instructions dated April 15, 1960, with Arthur L., Harold O. and Alvin <br />Rasmussen, Hilga Johnson and Lillian Wilkie, for property on the west side of Garn- <br />sey Street, south of Hickey Street, Civic Center, in the sum of $10,500.00, <br /> <br /> Revised escrow instructions No. BTO07-C, dated January 11, 1960, replacing pre- <br />vio~s escrow instructions, with First Free Methodist Church of Santa Aha, granting <br />street easement on the east side of Bristol Street~ south of Eighth Street, in the <br />sum of $750.OO, <br /> <br /> Escrow Instructions No. 288190-ET, dated May 23, 1960, with Peerless Concrete <br />Pipe Corporation, granting street easement on the north side of Fifth Street and <br />on the east side of King Street, for no cash consideration, <br /> <br /> Escrow Instructions No. 4h742-C, dated April 18, 1960, with Florence Pilch, <br />conveying an easement for water main purposes on the south side of Westminster Avenue, <br />east of Harbor Boulevard, in the sum of $140.OO, <br /> <br /> Escrow Instructions No. 289757-ET, dated May 25, 1960, with Goodwill Industries <br />of Orange County, conveying street easement on the south side of Fifth Street, west <br />of Fairview, in the sum of $490.00, <br /> <br /> Escrow Instructions No. 288191-E~, dated May 20, 1960, with Howard J. and Eloise <br />J.
