<br />On motion of Councilman Hein!y~ seconded by Brewer and carried, Map of Tract No.
<br />3834, filed by Galway, Inc., for dedication to public use for highway purposes,
<br />Trask Avenue, Santa Clara Circle, Lewis Street, Avalon Avenue, Arden Street, Cortez
<br />Street, Jetty Circle, Laird Circle, and Twenty-First Street, and drainage easement
<br />shorn as Lot "A" and bond in the sum of $125,000.00 were approved; license fee in
<br />the sum of $5,400.00 accepted, and agreement covering improvements ordered signed.
<br />On motion of Councilman Heinly, seconded by Hubbard and carried, Map of Tract No.
<br />379l, filed by Hodges Building Corporation, for dedication to public use for highw~
<br />purposes Wakeham Avenue and drainage and sewer easements as shown on Map was appro~
<br />
<br />subject to approval by the Attorney of bond in the sun of $35,000.O0~and agreement coy-
<br />
<br />ering improvements ordered signed; no license fee required as this is commercial
<br />property.
<br />
<br />On motion of Councilman Hubbard, seconded by Heinly and carried, Tentative Tract
<br />Map No. 3841, filed by Hodges Building Corporation, creating ten lots located on
<br />the west side of Grand Avenue north of McFadden Avenue, was approved, subject to
<br />conditions.
<br />
<br />On motion of Councilman Hubbard, seconded by Heinly and carried, proper officials
<br />were authorized to execute the following agreements:
<br />
<br /> With Lowry Associates to provide sidewalks, curb an8 gutter, pavement, gradin~
<br />appurtenances, and appurtenant work where necessary, on Assessment District No.
<br />Golden West Avenue, between McFadden and Wilshire Avenues,
<br />
<br /> With A. A. Neon Company, Seaboard Finance Company and Wm. Rohrbacher (owner
<br />property) to construct an electric sign at 617 W. 17th Street, a portion of which
<br />electric sign will extend over and be upon the area between the center of said
<br />street and the setback line established along said street, and
<br />
<br /> With Co Jo Bonnet Company to place interim improvements at the intersection
<br />the private road and Memory Lane; reconstruct the intersection whenever Memory Lane
<br />is widened, and furnish bond in the amount of $2,000.00 to guarantee faithful
<br />performance of th~s Agreement.
<br />
<br />It was moved by Councilman Hubbard, seconded by Heinly and carried, that escrow
<br />instructions No. 45070-F, dated July 19, 1960, be approved and signed with Cora and
<br />Loren C. Wilson, for property on the west side of Parton Street~ north of Sixth
<br />Street, Civic Center site, in the amount of $12,600.00.

<br />The Council having unanimously waived the reading of the Resolution, on motion of
<br />Councilman Hubbard, seconded by Heinly and carried, the following Resolution entitl
<br />
<br /> "Resolution No° 60-1h6 accepting deed where the City
<br /> is paying a cash consideration"
<br />
<br />from Cora and Loren C. Wilson, for property on the west side of Parton Street, 'nort
<br />of Sixth Street, Civic Canter site, in the amount of $12,600.00, was considered and
<br />passed by the following vote:
