<br /> Councilman Hubbard, seconded by Brewer and carried, the following Resolution

<br /> "Resolution No. 60-148 initiating proceedings for the annexa-
<br /> tion of territory to the City of Santa Ana, designating an
<br /> appropriate name of 'Lincoln and Virginia W. Annex' for said
<br /> territory, and giving notice of protest hearing thereon"
<br />
<br /> and setting hearing date on September 19, 1960, was considered and passed by the
<br /> following vote:
<br />
<br /> Ayes, Councilmen Royal E. Hubbard, Dale H. Heinly, Bob Brewer, A. A. Hall
<br /> Noes, Councilmen None
<br /> Absent, Councilmen Stanley C. Gould, Jr.

<br /> Commission ordered the matter referred back to the City for correction and resub-
<br /> mission of a corrected description, map and cover letter,
<br />
<br /> From the Boundary Commission regarding proposed annexation of territory to
<br /> ~City of Orange "Annexation No. 138" and advising the Boundary Commission ordered
<br /> the matter referred back to the City of Orange for correction and resubmlssion,
<br />
<br /> From the County Surveyor and Road Commissioner submitting Resolution author-
<br /> izing filing of insurance certificate and endorsement forms in lieu of posting
<br /> surety bond as security for issuance of oversize-overweight moving permits over
<br /> County roads,
<br />
<br /> From Attorney N. H. Smedegaard reference Jack Leonard's property, 404 No.
<br /> Sullivan Street, and whether or not requirements for street improvements in front
<br /> of purchaser's property shall be waived,
