Gould,Jr. <br /> <br />Library Board~ term to expire June 50, 1964. <br /> <br />It was moved by Councilman Gould and seconded by Heinly, that Philip Reilly be <br />nominated as a member of the Plan~Ing C~mmission to fill the vacancy created by <br />the resignation of Robert J. MacFarlane. It was moved by Councilman Gould, secon~ <br />by Hubbard and carried, the nomination be closed~ and Philip Reilly appointed as <br />a member of the Planning Commission; term to expire July l, 1962. <br /> <br />On motion of Councilman Hubbard, seconded by Brewer and carried, the oral request <br />Councilman Dale H. Heinly was granted to leave the City and be absent from the <br />regular Council Meeting scheduled on September 6, 1960. <br /> <br />The Council having unanimously waived the reading of the Resolution, on motion of <br />Councilman Hubbard, seconded by Brewer and carried, the following Resolution <br />entitled: <br /> <br /> "Resolution No.60-165 of the City Cotuncil of the City of Santa <br /> Ana, California, urging all qualified persons to register as <br /> voters for the general Statewide and Presidential Election <br /> to be held November 8, 1960'! <br /> <br />was considered and passed by the following vote: <br /> <br />~yes, Councilmen Royal E. Hubbard, Stanley C. Gould, Jr., Dale H. Heinly, <br /> Bob Brewer, ~. A. Hall <br />Noes, CounciLmen None <br />Absent, Councilmen None <br /> <br />On motion of CounciLm~ n Hubbard, seconded by Heinly and carried, CoLmcilman Stanle <br />C; Gould, Jr., was orally granted permission to leave the United States,beginnin~ <br />November l, 1960, for approximately three weeks, and authorization for necessary <br />expenses, to attend the 15th Annual International Conference in Tel~Aviv, Israel. <br />On motion of CounciLman Heinly, seconded by Hubbard and carried, the City Council <br />adjourned. <br /> <br />Clerk of the Council <br /> <br /> <br />
