<br />Communication was presented from the Department of Public Works, reference petitioz

<br />signed by approximately ten property owners requesting thzt action be taken to
<br />
<br />acquire and improve the east half of Harper Street from Sugar Avenue to a point 119
<br />
<br />feet north, and recon~ending that the owners on the east side of Harper Street
<br />
<br />contact the developer of Tract 3713 and determine what the cost to the o~rners .~ould
<br />
<br />be for improving the east side of Harper Street, at the same time as the developer
<br />
<br />improves the west half of Harper Street; also advising that before the City would
<br />
<br />accept the east half of Harper Street for maintenance, the property o~ners would
<br />
<br />have to dedicate, as well as improve, this half of the street. On motion of Counci
<br />
<br />man Hubbard, seconded by Heinly and carried, the communication was received~ filed
