RESOLUTION NO. 81- 177 <br />PAGE TWO <br /> <br />In the event of a fire certified by the Fire Chief, the charge will <br />be adjusted to exclude water used for fire suppression. <br /> <br />(4) Private fire service rates without detector check valves, bi- <br />monthly standby charge: <br /> <br />The charges shall be double the ra.tes for private fire services with <br />detector check valves. <br /> <br />[5) Fire hydrant rates: <br /> <br />Public fire hydrant rates shall be two dollars and eighty-seven cents <br />($2.87) per month per hydrant. <br /> <br />(6) Surcharge for Acquisition: That a surcharge of One Dollar ($1.00) <br />per month is to be levied and collected for each water service to which <br />water is supplied by the City, or towhich a standby service is provided, <br />pursuant to Section 31-21 of the Santa Ana Municipal Code, for those <br />services acquired by the City of Santa Ana under and pursuant to that <br />certain agreement entitled "Water Systems Acquisition. Agreement", dated <br />2/20/79, as amended, provided and excepting, however, that the surcharge <br />· levied hereby shall not apply to any dwelling in Tract 1944, the owners <br />,of,w~i~h installed a water system under and pursuant to proceedings had <br />aha TaKen unaer the Improvement Act of 1911 heretofore. The surcharge <br />levied hereby shall not be charged beyond five (5) years from and after <br />the date when said surcharge is first levied. <br /> <br />C. SERVICE OUTSIDE CITY LIMITS <br /> <br /> All rates and service charges for service to premises outside the <br />City limits shall be double the above rates and charges except to those premises <br />outside the City limits heretofore served at the rates charged to bhose within <br />the City limits. <br /> <br />D. TEMPORARY WATER SERVICE <br /> <br /> (1) Water for construction work and other uses such that service <br />is required for only a limited time, not to exceed six months as <br />provided for in Section 39-26 of the Santa Ana Municipal Code: <br /> <br />All water supplied from,fire hydrants: <br /> <br />Per 100 Cubic Feet $0.50 <br />Meter rental per day $1.00 <br /> <br /> [2) Water for residential subdivision construction work not to <br />exceed four months as provided'for in Section 39,29 of the Santa Ana <br />Municipal Code: <br /> <br /> All water supplied from fire hydrants or water services with <br />spacer connections: <br /> <br />Per Lot $12.00 <br />Per 100 feet of sewer ditch $ 3.33 <br /> <br />[3) Water for flat rate unmetered service where a meter cannot <br />installed; bi-monthly: <br /> <br />Per 3/4" service <br /> <br />$15.00 <br /> <br />2. That Resolution No. 80-186 fixing water rates and standby service charges <br />is hereby repealed, effective November l, lgS1. <br /> <br /> <br />
