<br /> The report of the Boundary Commission was presented regarding proposed aanexatio~
<br /> of territory to the City of Tustin "Marshall Annexation" advising the boundaries
<br /> of the proposed annexation are reasonably definite and certain although it cuts
<br /> property logically. On motion of COllnc~lmR.n Hubbard, seconded by Heinly and
<br /> carried, the report was received, filed, and the Attorney instructed to write a
<br /> letter of protest to the County and the City of Tustin on the grounds that the
<br /> proposed annexation of territory is illegal.
<br />
<br /> On motion of Councilman Hubbard, seconded by Brewer and carried, permission was
<br /> granted to Bill Gordon on behalf of Elks Lodge No. 79~, to use the Municipal
<br /> Bowl on the afternoon and evening of Friday and Saturday, May 12th and 13th,1961,
<br /> at the rate of $100.00 per day, for the purpose of presenting the Third Elks
<br />
<br /> Charity Circus, with the proceeds donated to the Elks Cerebral Palsy Fund.

<br /> of the Jack Fisher Chapter 23, Disabled American Veterans, was approved, to soli(
<br /> funds November 4th and 5th, 1960, through the annual sale of forget-me-not
<br /> blossc~s.

<br /> On motion of Councilman Hubbard~ seconded by Brewer and carried, the application
<br /> of the Ladies Auxiliary of Apostolic Jesus Name Church, 702 Minter Street, was
<br /> approved to solicit funds November i through December 3l, 1960, for the farntshi~
<br /> and upkeep of their Church.

<br /> On motion of CounciLman Hubbard, seconded by Heinly and carried, the written
<br /> recommendation of the Manager, dated November 3, 196C~ was approved, for salary
<br /> step increases for seven employees, effective November l, 1960.

<br /> On motion of Councilman Hubbard, seconded by Heinly and carrie~ bond in the sum.
<br /> of $50, O00.O0~filed by Barten Mertgage~any, for the improvements on a tract
<br /> bounded on the east by the S.P.R.R., on the west by a line approximately 150 feet
<br /> east of Standard Avenue~ on the south by McFadden Avenue, and on the north by a
<br /> line approximately 1111 feet north of McFadden Avenue, consisting of ~0 lots, in
<br /> Tract No. 2437, was ordered released and improvements accepted as completed.

<br /> On motion of CounciLman Hubbard, seconded by Heinly and carried, the claim of
<br /> Newell William Helm, 601 Park L~ne, for damages to sewer line at the point where
<br /> the sewer lateral crosses through the parkway, in the amount of $777.~7, due to
<br /> tree root from tree located on the City parkway, at 812 So. Van Ness Avenue,
<br /> was referred to the Manager and Attorney with instructions to reject the claim.
<br /> On motion of Councilman Hubbard, seconded by Heinly and carried, the claim of
<br /> Ann Green, 315 So. Bedford Road, Orange, for alleged personal injuries and
<br /> damages, amount not ascertained at this time, dueto malfunction of traffic signs
<br />
