<br />It was moved by Councilmau Hubbard that "Resolution quitclaiming to Helms Bakeries

<br />access rights for a driveway on the north side of Delhi Road" be adopted. Motion

<br />lost for lack of a second.

<br />The Council having unanimously waived the feeding of the Ordinance, on moticm of

<br />Councilman Hubbard, seconded by Heinly and carried, the following Ordinance en-

<br />limit on portions of Delhi Road"
<br />
<br />from the East City T.~mits to the City Limit line 1,600 feet west of the.center lin
<br />
<br />of Bristol Street, and on Delhi Road fram the waSterlyproperty line of Fairview
<br />Street to the City ?~mft line 700 ~ feet easterly of Raitt Street, at a speed no
<br />
<br />greater than 35 miles per hour; and on Delhi Road from the westerly property line
<br />
<br />of Fairview Street to Harbor Boulevard, at a speed no greater than 45 miles per
<br />
<br />hour, was considered and passed by the followi~ vote:

<br />On motion of Counci]mau Gould, seconded by Hubbard and carried, the following

<br />Ordinance entitled:
<br />
<br />"Ordinance adopting by reference an A~m~nistrative Electrical Code
<br />known as 'Orate County Administrative Electrical Code - 1959';
<br />requiring permits for and prescribing rules and regulations
<br />governing electrical installations an~ wiring; adopting by
<br />reference those certain regulations entitled 'Electrical Safety
<br />Orders of the State of California', effective February, 1955,
<br />issued by the State of California Department of Industrial
<br />Relations, Division of Industrial Safety; providing penalties
<br />for the violation thereof, and amending Section 8300; enacting
<br />Sections 8301, 8302, 83103; and repealing ~ections 8305, 8306,
<br />8309, 8310 a~l 8311 of Chapter 3, Article VIII of the Santa
<br /> Ana Municipal Code"
<br />
<br />was introduced, considered and placed on file for second reading.

<br />The Council having unanimously waived the reading of the Resolution, on motion
<br />
<br />of Councilman Gould, secon~A~l by Brewer and carrie~ the following Resolution
<br />
<br />entit led:

<br />"Resolution No. 61-9 establishing two-way Sraffic on
<br />Sycamore Street"
<br />
<br />1~twee~. Bishop a~: Seventeenth Streets, and the Department of Public Works shall
<br />
<br />install such signs and markings as are necessary to indicate to and notify drivers
<br />
<br />that left-hand turns into Seventeenth Street from Sycamore Street are prohibited.
<br />
<br />All of said changes shall be accomplished so that the two-way traffic pattern will
<br />
<br />be established effective 12:01 A.M., February 1, 1961, was considered and passed
<br />
<br />by the following vote:
