JCG:ar 4/23/82 RESOLUTION NO. 82-60 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA FIXING AND ESTABLISHING THE COMPENSATION FOR THE OFFICE OF CLERK OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA AND REPEALING RESOLUTIONS INCONSISTENT THEREWITH BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Santa Ana: 1. That the Clerk of the Council shall be granted an adjustment in base pay similar to the pay plan established by the Council on August 17, 1981 for Executive Management Personnel of the City of Santa Ana. 2. That said adjustment shall be computed on the base pay effective at the time of passage of this resolution ($3,120.00 per month), and shall be as follows: nine percent (9%) increase effective from and after May 1, 1982; an additional six percent (6%) increase effective from and after July 1, 1982; and an additional five percent (5%) increase effective from and after June 1, 1983. 3. That said salary shall be paid in the same manner and at the same time as other monthly salaries in the city are paid. 4. The Clerk of the Council shall be eligible for vacation compensation and bonus considerations in accordance with an evaluation system to be established by the City Council. 5. That the city shall pay to the Public Employees' Retirement System on behalf of the Clerk of the Council, an amount equal to five percent (5.0%) of the compensation upon which the retirement contributions are calculated. Payment thereof is not an increase in base salary. 6. In addition to the salary hereinabove fixed and established for said office, said officer shall receive, as additional compensation, the following employee benefits: (a) Deferred Compensation Said officer shall receive as deferred com- pensation an amount equal to one percent (1%) of
