RESOLUTION NO. 82-67 <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA FIXING CHARGES FOR <br />THE INSTALLATION OF THE NEW WATER MAINS AND FRONT FOOTAGE CHARGES FOR CONNECTION <br />TO EXISTING WATER MAINS FOR WHICH NO PAYMENT HAS PREVIOUSLY BEEN MADE AND RE- <br />PEALING RESOLUTION NO. 81-175 <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED by the CityCouncil of the City of Santa Ana: <br /> <br />1. That the following rates shall be charged to all applicants requiring <br />the installation of new water mains as provided for in Section 39-22 of the <br />Santa Ana Municipal Code. Upon the determination of the Director of Public <br />Works of the size or sizes required, for the proposed development, the follow- <br />ing charges shall be made: <br /> <br /> 6" or smaller water mains at $21.00 per linear foot. <br /> 8" water mains at $23.00 per linear foot. <br />10" water mains at $25.00 per linear foot. <br />12" or larger water mains at $28.00 per linear foot. <br /> <br />2. That none of the above charges shall be made if the applicant installs <br />water mains and hydrants, at his own expense, to the satisfaction of the Director <br />of Public Works. <br /> <br />3. That a charge of one-half of the applicable linear foot charge multiplied <br />by the number of feet of frontage of the parcel or lot shall be collected for each <br />recorded parcel or lot requiring the connection of a service to an existing water <br />main for which no previous payment has been made for such parcel or lot. <br /> <br />4. That Resolution No. 81-175 fixing charges~for water mains is hereby repealed, <br />effective July 1, 1982. <br /> <br />5.
