It was moved by Counc~lm~n Gould that the matter be tabled. Motion lost for lack of a second. On motion of Councilm~n Gould, seconded by Hubbard and carried, the ing Ordinance entitled: "Ordinance amending Article IX of the Santa Ana Municipal Code to change district classification on Amendment Application No. BS8 and amending Sectional District Map S6-~-10 (Exhibit 338 A)" was introduced, considered and placed on file for second reading. The Council having u~nimously waived the reading o'f the Ordinance, on motion of Councilman Hubbard, seconded by Gould and carried, the following Ordinance entitled "Ordinance No. NS-499 amending Article IX of the Santa Ana Municipal Code to change district classification on Amendment Application No. 33~ and amending Sectional Dlstrict Map ll-5-10 (EEhibit AA 33~ A)" filed by Ray McCoy, to reclassify from the C-1 to the C-2 District, property des- cribed as that area on the north side of First Street between Forest and Western Avenues, was considered and passed by the following vote: Ayes, Councilmen Noes, Councilmen Absent, Councilmsn Royal E. Hubbard, Stanley C. Gould, Jr., Dale H. Heinly, Bob Rrewer, A. A. Hall None None The Council having unanimously waived the reading of the Ordinance, on motion of Councilman Hubbard, seconded by Gould and carried, the following Ordinance entitled: "Ordinance No. NS-500 amending Article IX of the Santa Ana Municipal Code to change district classification on Amendment Application No. 337 and amending Sectional District Maps 17r5-9, 18-5-9 and 20-5-9 (Exhibit ~A 337 A)" initiated by the Planning Cc~-.~ssion, to reclassify frc~ the R-1 to the M-1 Dis- trict, property described as that area bounded by McFadden Avenue on the north, the Southern Pacific Railroad tracks on the west, a line approximately 996r78 feet of the center line of McFadden Avenue line approximately 1326.78 feet south McClay Street and the east City Limit between the S.P.R.R.and Grand Avenue, and a of the center line of McFadden Avenue between east of the center line of McClay Street, ex- cepting therefrom a parcel of land approximately 423.50 feet by 99° feet, located at the southeast corner Of McClay Street and McFadden Avenue, was considered and passed by the following vote: Ayes, Councilmen Royal E. Hubbard, Stanley C. Gould, Jr., Dale H. Heinly, Bob Brewer, A. A.
