<br />Councilman Hubbard, seconded by Heinly and carried, the following Resolution en-

<br />stating that all action on said annexation be held in abeyance, and that a new map
<br />and description of said territory, corrected to comply with the new requirements oJ
<br />the Orange County Boundary C~ission and as requested by them: be submitted to
<br />said Commission for consideration, was considered and passed by the following vo~e:

<br />Attorney Charles Go Schlegel, 433 W. Eighth Street, on behalf of Gordon Deckert,
<br />requested consideration by the City Council as to the deletion of Condition No. 2:
<br />"That the propOsed warehouse building observe the required three-foot side yard in
<br />the R-2 District along the north property line of the property in question," impos~
<br />on Variance Application No. 1455, filed by Gordon Deckert, to construct a warehous~
<br />in the R-2 District on property at 409 South Main Street, wherein Planning Commis-
<br />sion affirmed the decision of the Zoning Administrator on March 13, 1961 to grant
<br />said Variance, subject to conditions. It was moved by Councilman Hubbard, seconde~
<br />by Gould and carried, that the matter be brought before the City Council, referenc~
<br />the elimination of Condition No. 2, imposed on Variance Application No. 1~55, and
<br />authorization be reaffirmed as rendered, to be presented at the meeting on April
<br />
<br />3, l~l.

<br />On motion of Councilman Hubbard, seconded by Hefnly and carried, proper officials
<br />were authorized to execute agreement with Parks and Davis, dated March 20, 1961,
<br />for the preparation of plans and specificatious for the erection of an addition
<br />to the Crew Building, in the Corporation Yard, at 730 East Warner Avenue.

<br />On motiou of Councilman Hubbard, seconded by Heinly aud carried, proper of T~cials
<br />were authorized to execute agreement with Southern California Edison Company,
<br />dated March 20~ 1961, for the relocation of power poles in Warner Avenue (Delhi
<br />Road) median strip to the park~ay area on the south side of Warner Avenue, between
<br />the limits of Fairview Street and Greenville Street.
<br />
<br />On motion of Councilman Hubbard, seconded by Heinly and carried~ proper officials
<br />were authorized to execute agreement with Jack A. and Mary Ann Leonard, dated
<br />March 20, 1961, for the improvement of Sullivan Street along the frontage of their
<br />property between the westerly line of Sullivan Street and the existing improvement~'
<br />to be completed prior to ~ugust 15, 1961o
<br />
<br />It was moved by Councilman Hubbard, seconded, by Heinly and carried, that escrow
<br />instruction~ be approved and signed for certain properties and with the following
<br />persons:
<br />
<br /> Escrow Instructions No. ~5977-F, dated March 9, 1961, with Jitsugo and Takayo
<br />Motoyama, for street easement on the west side of King Street, south of Ninth Stre~ ~,
<br />in the sum of ~1~092.00, and
<br />
<br /> Amendment to Escrow Instructions No. h5831-F, dated March 16, 1961, with
<br />Andrew R. and Opal Boersma, for an extension of time limit to March 31, 1961, for
<br />clearance of right-of-way, on the south side of Fifth Street, east of Harper Street
<br />
<br />The Council having unanimously waived the reading of the Resolution, on motion of
