***REPEALED BY RES. 87-61*** RESOLUTION A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE WATER SERVICE INSTALLATION AND REPEALING CITY OF SANTA ANA FIXING CHARGES FOR RESOLUTION NO. 82-66. BEAT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Santa Ana: 1., That the following rates are to be charged prior to installation of water service, for each water service installed by the Water Division of the Public Works, as provided for in Section 39-19 of the Santa Ana Municipal Code: A. WATER SERVICE Size of Service & Meter Service Fee Meter Fee Combined Fee 1"5/8 x 3/4" $ 575 $ 35 $ 610 1"3/4 x 1" 575 55 630 1" 1" 575 80 655 1-1/2" 1-1/2" 675 200 875 2" 2" 760 265 1025 !The rate to be charged for relocating a service meter a distance of (fifteen (15) feet or less shall be one-half said cost of service in- stallation, based upon the size of service, and the rate charged for relocating a service meter a distance of more than fifteen (15) feet ,shall be the same as for the cost of service installation, based upon the size of service. The rate to be charged for an increase in the size of service shall be the same as for cost of service installation for the large size of ser- vice. B. SERVICE INSTALLATION OUTSIDE CITY LIMITS The rate to be charged for installation of water service outside the City limits shall be the same as for installation within the City. DEPOSIT The installation of larger services, fire services, backflow protection devices, or any other service not mentioned herein, nor specifically pro- vided for in any other ordinance or resolution of the City of Santa Ana, shall be made on the basis of cost, including overhead. In any such in- stallation, the applicant shall post the deposit in an amount estimated by the Director of Public Works to be sufficient to cover the total charge. In the event the actual cost is less than the deposit, the balance shall be refunded to the applicant, and if more, shall be paid by the applicant upon receipt of additional billing.
